Nice song and felt like i was in that time period and relaxing. I also noticed that the speed is slightly faster compared to the other 'turntable' vids posted here on Youtube also playing this record with the same label. Usually the kiddie record player's speed is always slightly faster compared to the Gerrard, B.S.R or any adult-type turntables. The professional type ones usually have the pitch controller
I have loved this song!! Even more than Be my Baby which I also loved! Ronnie and the girls were so cute and talented. I remember twirling around singing this song as a little girl. Thanks Ronnettes!
This was their final "Top 40" record (#23), released in November 1964, at the time The Beatles had firmly established themselves worldwide [as well as the U.S.]. In fact, The Ronettes opened for The Beatles at several U.K. concerts in early '64.
That little shitty device and that small black disc sounding light years better than anything done today on 49 thousand track digital studios. Like Al Pacino would say; "Something is really wrong here".
This channel is for accoustic recordings of the player with the camera mic to remember the record players and the sounds of them from my childhood. The records used are ones found in pretty bad shape to add to the effect and because I don't like the needle set up on this player, I don't trust it with my nicer records.
Back to mono indeed..sounds great.

A couple newer uploads have the mic up close to fatten the sound a bit and get rid of the auto volume, but that's as far as I'd like to take it here.
