The other point of using water, is to pull the fruit apart by starting with for incisions, and then force it open inside the water so seeds and juice don't shoot away and make a mess in your kitchen walls, and garments.
I've seen better videos. Other people actually recommend peeling in the bowl of water. It works & is less messy. Plus cutting the top & bottom off make it easier to peel.
do something else lady or if you want to teach somethingplese inform yourself first. You mislead people. There are much better ways of approaching things, your approach is lacking knowledge and experience.
PUT THE FRUIT UNDER WATER! Also, CUT the fruit open LENGTHWISE. Then put it under water and use your fingers to separate everything. The pith will float, and you won't get pithed off at shooting seeds and stuff.... Thanks for listening.
Woh WTF is that at the bottom right hand corner of the screen that appears at 1:25!? A dog or something? Caught me off guard at first lol. Nice vid btw
Thanks for the information! I've never eaten pomegranate, but I am growing some pomegranate plants from seeds I purchased from a nursery, and I hope to be able to eat some of their fruit in the future.

It's way better if you cut it in half, hold it down, and hit it over and over. Check out the other videos.
