Some people are missing the point! It is not about Skate and their hot kisses and it is not about making Jate fans happy. It is about them alone..and by them I mean the people whether it's Sawyer, Kate, Juliet or Jack, their characters, their faiths, what they've been through and their love for one another is what matters. It is not about keeping count of how many scenes Skate or Jate shared. We all miss LOST but we miss it because it was different and not because of Skate or Jate. Let go people
i think rewatching this scene just changed me from a skate, to a jate fan...sorry fellow skate fans, sawyer and kate may be hot together, but their relationship is really mostly physical (except for the cry hug) jack is always there for kate no matter what...just saying.
I'm not saying their feelings are not real, but it's way more complex between the two of them than maybe what she felt for Sawyer, but it's undeniable that she had better chemistry with Sawyer.
@xyzizzle But chemistry doesn´t mean "the endgame". It´s not main reason to be together (in real life aswell). And I think that I know why they chose Jack and Kate and Sawyer and Juliet, they wanted all four characters to be happy at the end. I know that Sawyer and Kate´s fans are pissed but they should understand that Sawyer and Juliet and Jack and Kate´s fans need to be happy and have some good kisses, Skaters had many kisses and sex scenes. That´s why they made the end with them.

No matter, how fans of Sawyer and Kate always will say, that their kisses are better, maybe they have passion and chemistry, but we´ll always love Jack and Kate in this scene, forever.
