  • How come the tires don't sink in the sand???

  • @darmillionaire ''The only accdident resulting in passenger injuries occured when a BEA dragon rapide flipped over when it's wheel became stuck in soft sand during it's landing roll on december 6, 1951. Two women on board suffered cuts and bruises.'' Airports of the world magazine, issue 39(jan-feb 2012), page 28

  • It´s a airport that never will have a runway

  • It's a bit dangerous isn't it? The fact that there are no boundaries from the public to "airside", it wouldn't take much for anyone to get anything dangerous on-board that plane and subsequently into Glasgow International Airport; which could lead to the "dangerous" item having access to an international flight, seeing as there is only one security area at Glasgow airport and the UK arrivals go to departures after disembarking the plane prior to going to baggage re-claim...

  • @stothem1234 wouldn't you have to go through security again?

  • thats awesome i want that route! airline and bush pilot all in one

  • its acctually a good landing to say it is on sand

  • wow never seen that befor
