ARMY SURGEONS AT FORT BRAGG DROP LASIK IN FAVOR OF PRK, September, 2008 EyeNet Magazine: "At Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Army surgeons have moved toward surface ablation [PRK] procedures for all refractive surgery candidates because of the rare but real potential for traumatic flap dislocations after LASIK."
But, what if, a patient takes the LAW into their own hands, now ruined and suicidal feeling there is nothing to live for? Doesn't this create an "x" factor for the Lying LASIK Doctors to think about? Does safety now come before money for once? Only time will tell. Basically, the Lying LASIK Doctors have lied in order to save a lawsuit, while pushing the patient past the Statute of Limitations to sue them which is about 2 years usually, all while ruining his patient's eyesight and life.
