Cool. I wonder if this can be done with Syntheyes, export trackers to Blender, create meshes that follow the trackers, then composite the matte made from the render. Maybe need a bit of Python thrown in there.
@onjoFilms That's definitely a valid way to do it for the machinery, not for the girl of course. In fact, you'd have to mask out the girl to get a workable result in Syntheyes.
For this particular project that would be overkill, but for 2D->3D conversion, that would be cool.

is mocha actually better than silouette?

Silhouette has some tools that Mocha doesn't have, but I personally choose Mocha over Silhouette for pretty much all my work.
The planar tracking is just too important a tool.
