  • I'm on acid and i can't stop watching this video.

LSD burst over the dreary domain of the constipated bourgeoisie like the angelic herald of a new psychedelic millennium. We have never been the same since, nor will we ever be, for LSD demonstrated, even to skeptics, that the mansions of heaven and gardens of paradise lie within each and all of us.

  • @vladconstu

You are on acid.... And I bet you voted Obama you pos Marxist NAZI pig

  • I think I raped the replay button..a whole bunch of times!

  • I wish i was around for the sixties.. 93 my birthyear.. :/

  • @thuggmario

    The 60's were DISGUSTING.

    Grow up dumbass.

They were freaks that hated their parents and treated Grandparents like TRASH.

  • 2:35 guy is the best

  • @gcvorcaro01 LMFAO!!!!! thats hilarious! that could be my dad who knows...

  • Alway loved this song, but seriously WTF 0:23 I didn't know they had Tanning dye back then, grace slick looks like hell.

  • its true, smoking does make your wee smell

  • what does she mean when she says ask alice?

  • @hondaracer9551 The whole song is in reference to "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll.

  • @madogofwales

Bullshit, its about Alice, the book- GO ASK ALICE- what a dim bulb you are.

  • @ugha323a Who is the dim bulb? The book-GO ASK ALICE was published after the song. The title is in reference to the lyrics of WHITE RABBIT. The song is indeed based on many drug references in ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

  • @madogofwales well, to be technical about it, Charles Dodgson, aka Lewis Caroll, wasn't talking about drugs (the best he had available was opium.). He was talking about how pissed off he was about Non-euclidian Geometry and "imaginary numbers." For example, the whole, two sided mushroom was a reference to the imaginary number i, because i = (-1)^1/2 i^2 = -1 i^3 = -i and i^4 = 1. One side (even exponent) make it larger (real number) and one side (odd exponent) make it small (imaginay number).

  • @LuminOfMoonlight Thanks! That was enlightening.

  • @madogofwales not a problem. I found it to be quite relevant because I am studying both Dodgson and taking an Algebra II class atm.

  • fullerRd pretty much says its all. out in the cold rainnn and snowwwww..... rainnnnn and snowwwwwww

    ooooooooooooooooooo

  • If you had actually fought to defend your country instead of ruining whatever little bit of brains you had to begin with, you'd know you didn't have shit to do with stopping Viet Nam. The gooks wanted us gone and if you had their kind of resolve the US would be a better place you peacnik piece of crap.

  • @jayleemorrisjr

Absolutely, Jay, the 60's hippies were disgusting LOSERS.

These people collaborated with COMMUNISTS, they ARE genocidal pieces of shit- look who's in the W.H. now and you can see what type mongrel hordes these animals ARE.

  • @ugha323a you're a very unhappy person and it shows

  • @ugha323a

thank god im raised socialistisc/communistc :)

  • @Sander1reggae93

Then this is obviously not the right country for you. Cuba might be a better fit.

  • @yakfitguy **to here it**

  • Its a shame the worlds not full of young hippies instead of the vicious little veloceraptors we have now.

  • orange face

  • trippiest song ever

  • ahhhhhh reminds me of my time back in nam shooting gooks in the day jaming by night

  • This brings back the absolute peak of west coast sixties music, the best we will ever hear, probably for ever more.....I wish I could go back and enjoy it all over again, it went far too quickly.....Thanks for posting this gem!

  • Who know, know.

    Who not know, not know.

    Espetacular lyric!!!!

  • Is it just me or were the Smother's Brothers getting high in the green room with Grace? Pretty slurry speech on the intro.

  • @yakfitguy

xD so you have noticed it to i thought i was the only one so here it, then i saw your comment and i thought - he,.. wass" chasing rabbit'S... aannnddd WEE couldn't doOO.... anything at allll

  • @MsRandomPro He's ripped. Yeah, a little secret about TV in the 50's, 60's, and 70's: Lots 'o people were high on the sets. But hey, If Grace Slick offered you a joint, could you say no?

  • @yakfitguy Didn't know that, i think it's just as it should be, everyone having a good time even the host of the program, why not.. i would so have done the same thing if i was in his position, yes i would turn it down if i wanted to ofc..

If i didn't felt to smoke, as how the vibe went i could feel the the MASSIVE vibe, i would have joined him, after we finished the joint, IF he offered me, i would return the favor lighting 2 big joints at the time, let it go a passing motion left to right <3

  • @morsimaniman dont quit you day job lol

  • @morsimaniman that was gude.

  • @morsimaniman dont quit your day job? LOL

  • @morsimaniman

    "Too" not "to".

  • @morsimaniman really cos lifeguards have water ski's and boats it is very unlikely that anyone could get out that far so that the lifeguards couldnt reach them unless either the person got out that far on an other veichle (in which it would be the responsobility of the coast guards or the life guard service did not no the person was in peril.

  • grace slick was hot. now shes old and fat.

  • A++++. awesome.

  • The host is slow because he's Tommy Smothers, and that was his style, but there was nothing slow about his wit! He and Dicky, his brother, were on for awhile but became to radical to remain on TV. Hard to believe, but true....

  • did he say Grace Sick?

  • Yeahh, That's why he said, "I mean Grace Slick."

  • Great Song!

    Great Video!

Wish I had lived in this time!

  • me too

  • The structure of this song is wonderful. What a great vocalist and composer.

  • better than LSD? better than Sandoz LSD?? hahahahahahaahahahahahahahah

  • We were going to change the world! (but just got very stoned)- which was nice for a while, then some got married and had kids and got jobs and some got politics and some got religion, but at least we stopped Vietnam and had a damn good time before we got on with buggering up the planet.

  • @FullersRd Hi, is this from 'Fear and Loathing...'? (the text I mean) ty.

  • @Tommyfazz Yup, this is the same song that Dr Gonzo listened to after having a lil too much mescaline and blotter acid.

  • @FullersRd the quagmire that was the Vietnam war stopped itself.

  • @FullersRd I did not see many people who could put it into words like you Brother Ssgt Peter K 2/506th Alpha Co 101st Air Assault (Formerly Airborne) 1968-69 I think I am one of the few people in this world who was not at woodstock

  • @FullersRd sellouts....

  • @FullersRd

seems to me that they stopped nam when they were ready. never really ended..we never really leave anywhere that we've spilled blood.

americans grow up and they grow useless. breed like assembly lines to keep the factories and the war machines humming. drop out, drop out and drop out. i watched it happen to my entire generation. worst of all i watched it happen to myself.

  • @FullersRd Dude, that's what we all did . . . the beauty of it is that now, we're all in that usual voting range, and we now have the power. Now we give a shit, even if we're too old to go out and party on and smoke a lot of weed or get wasted on LSD.

  • @FullersRd

    You didnt 'stop' Vietnam.

You didnt do ANYTHING but fuck this nation up.

When it all comes crumbling down, which is what is happening, LOOK IN A MIRROR YOU FREAK

  • Why is the host of the show so ... slow?

  • probably blazed!

  • thank you LSD

  • and the ones that hippys give you

    blow your mind

  • tu comentario es muy pendejo las drogas y la música no estan peleadas, a ver si te pones a leer la letra de la canción pendejooo

  • Watching this makes me wounder if jefferson airplane dropped acid

  • really? wow.

  • No she was a pusher. Her own words /watch?v=TWpLJyVthBU

  • hahahaha man.. i've never laught so hard.

  • jackpot,einstein haha

  • heavy espeiaclly grace slike.

  • So many of these comments are from people who never were there.

  • it was never our choice when to be born. Even though it's true.

this song is seriously awesome, anyway!

  • Awesome song =)
