@streakinglobster It depends on the vehicle. None of the Crown Vics are chipped stock. If you purchase one from a police department then it may or may not have been chipped by the department. You can have it done yourself at tuning shops or buy purchasing one yourself. For the Crown Vics they are called power programmers and plug into the diagnostics port. Some year models are faster or more responsive than others, but most have the same limits which can be removed with a programmer.
Can you tell me if a CVPI 2005 is chipped. I am waiting for a chip and wondering if I'm wasting my time..
