  • well i am the same as you aspie trained in childcare and been into landscape photography since i was 10,no one wants to employ you as if you arnt well you just dont go to work as its not fair on others, there are plenty unemployed young people.

i am 48 and also have a spinal injury and other medical problem.government dont help just put you through hell and call us lazy, jeffrey 48 aspie radio ham..

  • @petchharrison i agree its not fair being stuck between a rock and a hard place like this

  • wow, great video! :) I LOVE the pictures- theyre AMAZING! I also love to take pictures, but i am in no way half as good as you! All the pictures in one of my videos, The Girl With 7 Disorders, were taken by me. well, good luck with what ever you need some luck in! :) -Kris

  • @TheHelpWillCome thanks kris , watched your video "The Girl With 7 Disorders" i like the pics at 0:23 1:00 they show potential

you should see the first pics I took they are really bad all you need is practice. You have in your pictures the part that can't be be taught and that's giving them a soul the rest is all technique.

Technique is down to practice however giving them a soul well that's something you have or you don't and you do. So your an artist inside just need to bring that out

  • (Your photos are awesome.)

Do you know about mercury toxicity? i have all the above and grand mal seizures, which i am attempting to treat with Cutler protocol chelation therapy - after making the terrible mistake of having all my amalgam fillings removed without protection. All symptoms 'coincidentally' worsened the same week. But obviously docs cant see past an Aspergers diagnosis...

Have u tried any diet changes / supplements etc?

  • hi Craig. i have seen this video in facebook. and whoaa... this is such a splendid work for art. by the way, im justine, taking up special education... keep the spirit burning! :)

  • @justinereiner thanks justine :-)

  • There are way too many typos in the text you wrote in the video.

  • @ghfrjhn i know but you tube doesnt let you replace videos so its stuck like that

  • Watching this video brought tears to my eyes. For all the trouble you see, you bring so much beauty into the world with your skill. Please, keep doing what you do, because you are a professional in my eyes already.

  • @Ihkura thanks your comment was really kind thanks for that :-) you made my day !!!

  • I have Asperger's and do photography too, you have beautiful photographs :)

  • @DeviousLittleFox thanks :-)

  • I am not aspergers, I have two aspie boys though. I am a photographer as well, with sensory, ADHD, etc.

You can be a professional. You just need to believe it. In your heart, it needs to be screaming... "My work is freaking fabulous, and I am a professional photographer."

You are BRAVE and COURAGEOUS for sharing your self and with the world. I applaud you!

  • @flawedemmy thanks for your kind comment and advice :-)

  • Mate, your photographs are great!

  • You're a great photographer and I love your pics! You've got skills to become a professional one day, that's for sure! Good luck!

  • @Sunnykaren1969 thanks :-)

  • great photos and description of your difficulties. I'm not diagnosed but I identify as an Aspie and can relate to some of the things you mentioned. I have been out of the paid workforce for nearly 13 years (10 years as a mother) and am petrified that nobody will take me on (or keep me on!) - I would love to make a living out of photography but it's hard to know how to begin. I think you have taken a fantastic first step. Get yourself known and then make your prints available! Good luck!!

  • @fimail70 thanks hope you find a job aswell :-)

  • I love your photography and your deturmination to overcome the obstacles that are in your life. I can't wait until my 10 year old daughter gets home from school today. She won't feel so alone after watching your video. You and she have a lot of the same issues to deal with. She has hypothyroid and arthritis too though. Thanks for posting your video. My daughter will love it. :)

  • @fafardk thanks im glad my video helped you :-)

  • Hello I am a professional photographer and I think that you are grate. In fact I think that you have an over all better skill than me. I would like to say that some things were a little to centered and the focus of the object needs a way out of the photo . You should talk some of your photos to the local galleries and see if they would like to hold some to sell. My fist photo i sole i took with a Kodak Easy Shear 7.2 megapixel and it sold during for $200. So you should be grate.

  • @RandomTop10 thanks for the good advice and comments :-)

  • You're Beautiful. Please don't give up your dream. Your photos and story moved me. I know autism. You have a great gift of vision.

  • @foresttwilight thank you very much for your kind comment :-)

  • Believe me an NT's world has too much grey in it!

My son and husband have AS and they have introduced me to their creative colourful world. I choose an Aspie world any day despite the everyday challenges! Their world is full of wonderment and innocence sadly lacking in NT world. You should try and sell your photography. Have a look at Infusionart.co.uk they have photos on huge canvases. I am sure they would be interested in your photography ~ Bev

  • @winnlove1 thanks bev ill give it a try :-)

  • I loved the phot of the cherry blossom wow! I loved the waterfall with the pinky hues- how did you manage to capture such amazing colours? Some are so ethereal. You are gifted! Follow your dream ~ Bev

  • @winnlove1 thanks bev i see the world that way so i shoot it the way i see it, my eyes are more sensitive to the light due to autism (asperger's) and also more sensitive to colour so i guess i see everything like in disney colours im not sure though id love to see the world they way neurotypicals see it for a day to see the difference

  • I love your photography! Especially the cherry blossom and the waterfall that has pinky hues to it - how did you manage to capture such amazing colours? You are gifted, keep at it and follow your dream ~ Bev

  • @The7awesometeens thanks kate :-) that comment made my day :-)

  • yes my mam thinks i have OCD because i do everything twice

and i check the door lots of times and the cooker even though i know its locked its like

i think their will be a fire your a great at taking pictures

  • @nakita13williams i have the same problem i have to check everything 8 times not 2 times but it still sounds like OCD. People with autism and ASD's often have OCD or mild forms of OCD. I totally understand. I can't sleep unless I do the 8 times check thing with everything I think there will be a fire aswell.

    Thanks i love photogrpahy :-)

  • @nakita13williams it sounds like your way of dealing with anxiety and stress all people with autism and asd's have little things they do to help them deal with stress.

the long humming noise sounds like tourettes now not full tourettes syndrome but a trait. As autism and tourettes are on the same spectrum so alot of people with autism and asd's might display mild signs of tourettes.

it's usually always triggered by stress or anxiety so its a coping mechanism.

  • @weaveintothewin2 yea my doctor said its stimming

  • @nakita13williams had to look that one up never heard of that term before yes i guess its your way of making sure and checking you have done something again its a way of coping with things :-)

  • i have autism and

i day dream but its not like day dreaming

its like im either in a feild or like water bubbles

and i have to check if the dorr cooker and lights are off too

  • @nakita13williams yeah I used to do that in school alot, I would drift off alot I was told the day dreaming thing might be something called "petit mal seizures" but i've never been tested for it. Alot of people with autism and asd's have epileptic traits and some have mild forms of epilepsy.

I found out that the checking things over and over is obsessive compusions and sometimes OCD if its bad enough alot of people with autism have OCD aswell.

  • you have give me hope that my son has something special inside of him. thanks for your story.

  • @jgarcia05fan I believe everyone on this planet has a gift or talent of some kind even if you have autism you still have a gift just it's harder to find your gifts when you have autism but there still there.

  • you're talented, believe me, you have that skill what I would just imagine to have. I have Nikon D40X and its not so professional camera but its better than nothing :) I have photograph like 3-4 years and lov'it but I often lost my inspiration so I've to work out that... I have self-diagnosis asperger and I know what you're going throw, okay I'm younger but I'm so reliesed that there is somewhere aspie who are breathing same air ^^ Keep going!

  • @Maiju17 I have the nikon D40 not the D40X pretty much the same. It's not the camera it's the photographer. Don't worry about expensive camera's it doesn't make much of a difference, just less noise, but u can fix noisy images on the computer. Also not as big a print size with a Nikon D40 compared to more expensive cameras, but unless ur printing out big photo's it doesn't really matter. Photography's a good way for autism people to chill out I think. We're very creative. It gives us an outlet.

  • do you shoot in the raw format?

  • @xROBERTxDAVISx yes usually raw but if i need to take alot of pics or im just experimenting with new things then jpeg.

  • I hope so also! Awesome Job!

  • @autiemommy2 thanks :-)

  • I have to admit, that is the most touching video regarding Autism I have seen in awhile; and I have seen a lot. I am a parent of a child with Aspergers. My son is 10, and loves photography as well.

I have no doubt in my mind you will set out what you wish to accomplish :) It may take a little time and some patience; but you keep up the great work you are doing. Not only are you showcasing your talent, you are educating those around you as well. You should be uber proud of yourself :)

  • @indomitablefae thanks loads for your kind comment :-)

  • very interesting video.as well as the photography i loved your openness about yourself.take it easy.

  • @r1ch4rd69 thanks, I figured honesty is the best thing when talking about autism
