  • Anyone who is familiar with San Francisco could tell that he went to Forest Hill Station and the portal to the Twin Peaks Tunnel.

  • Good job. This is a great movie and I'm impressed with your effort.

  • I spent 30 minutes finding every single place on Google Maps...

  • awesome

  • One of my favorite all-time movies. Great job.

  • Salut ! Are you French? I'll go with English for now though.

If you want to visit Sudden Impact's location of the amusement park segment at night, that's where I live in Santa Cruz, CA. It is filmed at the Beach boardwalk.

Also, it's not uncommon to see Mr. Eastwood if you stroll around Carmel...just sayin'...

    Best of luck, bonne chance.

  • @StoryeTime ..That's not Clint Eastwood...That's Larry Dickman.

  • You didn't include Alice on the way to the cross?!?!

  • Very Good !!! :-)

  • That is not a deleted scene at all.

  • a+++++++++++++

  • Nice work...i do that to, when i travel...find the movie locations of my favorite movies..did some scenes from the game with penn and doulglas. and other movies i seen growing up that were filmed in san francisco...it was pretty cool ...and tranining day when in los angeles..the scene where denzal got shot in the ass, i stood in that same spot....i get a rush when i do shit like that.

  • nicely done - very cool

  • Nicely put together, thanks for that.

  • Very fun. I've always wanted to go hunt down all the original scene locations myself. Dirty Harry rocks!

    Thanks for posting.

  • That was really cool! The tunnel he runs out of which is now blocked, what is that?

Also, I'm surprised any symbol even hinting at Christianity remains in SF. I thought it would have been removed and replaced with a large phallic like object...

  • Its not for a lack of trying that some groups have attempted to get rid of that cross...but its still there, God Bless.

  • @darthroden im from England, please explain what the story is behind certain groups? trying to get rid of that cross?? some sort of joke??

  • @tommyaw123 It was said because in the USA there is an effort underway, and has been for many years now, to erase any public displays associated with Christianity because of the rise of "political correctness". Usually this is led by the ACLU. (american civil liberties union) They challenge in court all public displays regarding Christianity by arguing either separation of church and state, or arguing that the "cross" or Christian displays are offensive to non-Christians.

  • This is fantastic - really enjoyed looking at the differences in the modern day appearance even though I'm in Australia!!!!!! Cheers mate, Craig.

  • 'Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream' - anyone got a yellow school bus and a fat kid I can slap?

  • very good!!!!! thanks for putting this vid up! well done!

  • Great video man, very informative

  • When I was a kid my fokes to me to San Fran, I am from Sydney Australia, and I did almost exactly this as a 16 year old I retraced this scene all the way to Mount Davidson park! I wish this technology was available then you must be a hardcore fan like myself! Really cool man!

  • go on put your nose right up to the cement lol scorpio had some good lines

  • You did some good "comparison" photography. Usually that is done for military battlefields and the like.

One can really develop that angle.

    Good Job!!!

  • wow, finally put a real face to all of those places that I've been seeing in this film for 30 years. Awesome job!

  • Great job ,Herve.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • do you know the song that plays during 410mins at the bar?

thanks for upload, was very good for me here 'downunder' as always wanted to see where these places are today, poor old tramcar!

  • Santa owns Clint Eastwood ! Search for " Dirty Santa 44 Magnum ! "

  • Great job man! Glad to see die hard Dirty Harry fans out there. Can't believe that strip club is still there of all things.

  • I'm not. I'm more surprised that the Cross is still there with all those liberal 'San francisco' values idiots.

  • To Schuey999, Good point. Though SF, when it has any religion at all, is Catholic. There'd be heck to pay if they tried to remove it...

  • @jholmes13

Isn't San Francisco a Chinese city?

  • @schuey999 You're a dipshit nazi

  • great stuff! I did some movie locations last time I was in SF, drove my girlfriend nuts, but it has to be done!

  • Any chance of a similar video for Bullitt?

  • there is one on youtube, search for "BULLITT: RETURN TO SAN FRANCISCO"

  • One of our local cinemas was playing Dirty Harry & Bullitt as a double feature last night. Unfortunately I already had other plans :-(

  • This is the coolest thing i have ever seen on youtube.

  • This was very cool!
