@MrROTD at first i agree, that is very easy for powerleveling, but think about it. As you level up enemies get stronger, now what do you do when a dremora pulls out his daedric axe and says "come get a piece of me?" hop and run around from it? I dont think so.

Long live morrowind ! I am still playing it on occasion now. Rarely will you find a game this long and deep and that still has a mod community today. I installed Morrowind Overhaul Sound and Graphics just yesterday on my PC morrowind and It looks better than oblivion.

putting two perks on extra weapon specialization is a bad idea, and completely pointless if you choose long and short blade. Just learn to use bows close range and give him stallion sign, he runs so fast they never catch up. spend those wasted perks on sneak or illusion instead

@killerman778 Morrowind is fucking awesome. The only reason everyone is "ALWAYS MORE POWERFUL" is because you use shitty pre-builds or don't know how to make a good build. Once you play it a long time you get the hang of making your own custom builds. I had a level 35 battlemage custom build after about 1 week of playing, simply because it was a great build that destroyed EVERYTHING.

after you get your duties you can kill that guy without getting in trouble and he is not required for any quest or anything in the same room there is a key that opens a door to a warehouse full of armor and ingrediants

Lemme add something up

Once at Balmora, join mages guild, do a quest, and in the 2nd one where u have to replace a soul gem with a fake, pick all the soul gems ON the desk, also the book and plate, then go to Calera via mages guild teleport, enter ghorak manor, sell everything to the scamp at floor 2, and grab the orcish set at 3th floor in a crate.

This game is hard as fuck. I have played Oblivion for a long time, and decided to try this one out. It seems fun, but its hard as fuck.  I just now started playing the game, maybe 20 minutes ago. I went into a cave right outside the starting city, and it took me about ten tries to kill the first person I saw. I had a dagger, and I couldn't hit him.

@wesel140 yes an assassin uses a bow for when you want to assassinate the king you get up in a very elobaratly tall tower and use your bow to fire down apon the king as he is knighting someone...thats just a reason why an assassin would use a bow it never happened in a game as far as i know

Morrowind is hard, unlike Oblivion. It's more of "Chance to hit, dodge, and block" rather than blocking and hitting on command, like on Oblivion.

u forgot a few things on ur beginners guide to morrowind.

1. go to caldera, enter ghorak manor, go upstairs two times, steal the orcish armor in the crates, wear it or sell it to the scamp with 5,000 gold.

2. do the 1st fighters guild quest in balmora, its a fast and way to earn 100gp.

3. give the package to caius cosades, because he'll give u 300gp if u do.

You should make Hand To Hand your major skill, and have it's governing attribute... It's the fastest way you can level up. Hand to Hand levels up extremely fast. Like, 5 punches is a level up.

There are alot of things I like in this better than Oblivion like the sats and the way they stack up and there are no restrictions on what level you are to wear any armor. true Obglivion is very well polished but I seems a little downgraded from daggerfall which let you have a horse and if I remember there was speed travel which would be nice but we arent asking to much are we. I mean if you look at games like the classic mario bros ppl still play them and download the music!!
