No because at cons people are allowed to control the way you're dressed.
You can as long as you're following the cons guidelines for being a minor. (Some say you have to have a parent, sometimes as long as you're over a certain age you just need them to sign a permission form, sometimes it doesn't matter how old you are.) But if you're at the con you can dress up if you like. No one can tell you no.
this years con could have run another 3 or 4 days, too much fun to be had.
people were still partying in the lobby on monday 12:30pm (day after last day)..
i'm at 4:43 my eye's (blue) didn't show well in the video. i'll try and make them more pic friendly by next year. anyone who missed seeing Roxi Kat look at 3:49
it's too bad that not all the suiter were in the parade, i saw many that were not in the parade,including one that was suiting later the day we left. we need to get all 3 the Linx that look like Slayer together next year. (only saw one linx ,Slayer? in the parade).
@FatherDavon734 it gives people a chance to see all of the Fursuites that came to the con and provides good photo opportunities. It's also the best way for the Con Staff to take a head count of all of the Fursuiters that came that year so they get a good idea of how the con is growing and how many to anticipate coming the next year. Fursuites are so physically taxing to wear that cons have to provide a lot of extra accommodations for them or...at best they get angry and leave, at worst...death.
This was awesome, this was the first fursuit parade I've seen in person, very cool. You can barely see at 1:00 in, a skunk plucks my top-hat and ears off, and I'm so absorbed watching I don't think to get it til 4:40 . My wife got to see this which really helped demystify furry for her. Very cool, so glad I went.
