  • Leaf fan here, I love Kulemin he`s a great player lots of skill and was actually shocked that he wasn`t there for Russia in 2010 at the olympics, but for those saying that Russia is the best, your crazy, Canada has more medals, Golds, etc for men and women, also Canada just won their 4th straight Ivan Hlinka couple days ago! and annihlated Russia 5-0.

  • @iLuvBarRefaeli nobody cares that your a leaf fan

  • @iLuvBarRefaeli and didnt you say you were a flames fan on another vid you fucking liar

  • @SOLIDSNAKEXXX360 umm nope when did i say i was a flames fan. hahahahaa

  • @SuperSultan1988 Canadians account for over 52 percent of the league and thats low compared to what its been. The majority of canadian provinces could probably ice a team capable of winning this tournament. They just picked the wrong players. They left out some of their top scorers and kept too many veterans.

  • Nikolai ku-lemon

  • @SuperSultan1988 you are really talking crazy bro. when u put that much talent on 1 team its hard for all that talent to work as a cohesive unit, which is what happened in torino. canadians have always dominated the NHL. go look at the all time points and goal leaders. go look at all the huge names that canadians have. it will greatly outnumber every other country.

  • @SuperSultan1988 r u kidding man??? canadians have always dominated the league. u need a history lesson

  • @SuperSultan1988 yes, i understand that. most of them probably could play in the NHL if they wanted, but i still feel that the best russians are playing in the NHL and if u look at the points and goal leaders over the last few years, there seems to be a decreasing number of russian players at the top of the heap. ovechkin is the only consistent one it seems

  • koo lYO min :)

  • great 2-way player

  • kalemon? no its koo la min in russian kulemin is spelled Кулемин k sounds like k in english but the y makes an OO sound so koo la min the H at the end of Кулемин sounds like an N so i dont know how the commentators got ka lemon

  • @okpapereat damn i thought it was like koo - LAY - min

  • @JimB667 Koo le min

  • i thought it was koo-le-min not koolehmon

  • wow... canadaguy124: you're a complete idiot. go back to school and learn to read/write. ffs.

  • Kulemin is one of the only russian players that doesn't have a russian game style to himself

  • Errr Ovechkin?

  • "one of the only"

  • Didnt catch that. ;)

  • Its true he plays more of a canadian style now

  • all players are equal in the world, sure im canadian but i don't think that there the best in hckey theres many others like russia USA and even the other european but they do mostly win but im not hsowing off, im just telling you that theres stars in every team

  • in 2006 canada had plenty of superstars, okay they had bryan mcabe and bertuzzi, but they had players like pronger nidermayer gange nash, im russian and i admitt canada has great superstars but european players are equal to canadian players

  • @mirzayanov I'll agree that European players are equal to Canadians in skill, but Canadians are better at being complete players. Canadians are better at playing 2 way hockey than most Europeans. Im American by the way, not bias.

  • @TheBryant13

Equal? Get off the drugs dude, Russian players are far and away the most skillful.

  • @dimuha87 Are you retarded? Is that why theres only 34 Russians in the NHL right now? Theyre not even good enough to play in the best league in the world. haha. your the one on drugs buddy.

  • exactly what im trying to say, other countries have just as many good players as canadians

  • and malkin wasn't good against the red wings and neither was brad richards or morrow or anyone else, no offence can match their defense

  • and i think Toews would have won Rookie of the year if he didnt get Injuryed and Ovechkin was one step ahead of crosby in his Developement in the 05/06 season and would have won it in 04/05 but Bettman had to lockout the season. it was just to Superstars as rookies in won season. but canada played like shit threw the whole 06 Olympics they didnt even have the rite to move on

  • in 2006 olympics canada had a roster full of NHL stars and they lost to russia 3-0, how do you explain that?? and the rookie of the year is ovechkin, best d-man is lindstrom, and rookie of the year is kane, none of them are canadian, im not saying canada sucks but their not as good as they think they are

  • Really?? Gee who are most of the big stars in the league?? Crosby,Nash,Thornton,Heatley,Spezza,Briere,Gagne,Brodeur,Luongo. To name a few. There are some non-canadian superstars, but there are just as many canadian superstars.

  • well i think u give alot more Credit to canadian players than Most euros and i respect that, but in 2006 i believe that when it was 1-0 Russia thornton scored but it was wavied off for no reason, then Pronger took a Penalty because the net was Empty, then Ovechkin scored on the powerplay. plus that team was put together rather poorly not to take anything away from the russians, but Todd bertuzzi? Bryan McCabe? come on.

  • if you had sakic that would be even better for us he's old and slow, draper is old, and pronger and niedermayer didn't do well in the playoffs their almost done with hockey, thornton was horrible in the playoffs, brier was bad, so was rebeiro, kariya wasn't in the season, theodore was horrible, broduer sucked in the playoffs(and im a devils fan), giguire is okay, marleau is a joke one time during the playoffs the stars D shoots the puck and he jumps instead of blocking the shot

  • Notable Mentions since your "no other good canadians" comment pissed me off: Dan Boyle, Brian Campbell, Patrick Marleau, Devon Setoguchi, Steve Stamkos, Mike Ribeiro, Andy McDonald, Robyn Regehr, Paul Kariya, Jose Theodore, and these players still would compete for a spot on your top russian team. Russia is good, but Canada has more depth UNDOUBTABLY, and its the ladder depth in which lost to your Russians. We'll see in 2010.

  • oi and dare i say Roberto Luongo (BEST GOALIE IN THE WORLD), JS Giguere, Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Kris Draper, Jonathan Cheechoo ETC! thats over a full roster of possible players who would've beaten out all but Staal, Spezza, Heatley, Nash and Getzlaf. You played a tier 2-3 Canadian hockey team, you put out your best besides 2. Not to mention Russia barely squeeked it out.

  • crosby was the only good canadain on in the IIHF this year and russia was missing malking and datsyuk so its plays out even, russia beat canada in a fair match

  • wth are you talking about, you ever heard of Vinny Lecavalier, Joe Thornton, Jarome Iginla, Joe Sakic, Martin Brodeur, Marty Turco, Simon Gagne, Daniel Briere, Scott Niedermayer, Chris Pronger, Dion Phaneuf, Brendan Morrow (would've eaten the russians alive), Brad Richards, not to MENTION Crosby. How the hell does that even out? Malkin is the biggest choke artist ever. He was the worste playoff player come crunch time. Your biased if i ever saw it.

  • and just so u know, not all Canadians are as Cocky and Defencive as these dicks

  • the skating treadmill is the best you can only do it a few times a week since because that thing kills

  • they should have stopped kulemin thats just a lazy backcheck, its fine if the U.S. looses to russia but letting kulemin score all by himself coming on his own is unacceptable

  • yea and they lift free weights

  • on the ice they practice jumping over tires and bunji cords and for off ice they just do sprints, squats, push-ups, sit-ups, walking lunges, and the only machine they use is an exercise bike

  • In canada we do log jumps(off-ice) ,and lift beaver tails .

  • i don't understand for hockey training americans use the latest technology like skating treadmills and stuff, but russians still continue to use the same training system that was used 50 years ago and they still beat the U.S.

  • what do the russians train with?

  • And then Canada comes out of nowhere and wins again...except for this year at IIHF. all our good canadians were in the playoffs and they still managed to go finals.

  • RUSSIA 50, USA 0. Next time they meet.

  • I like the Leafs they are one of my two favorite teams and I even live in Ontario.

  • better chance**

  • HAHA!!! nice example of why US hockey s*ck

  • imagine the leafs in 5 years... antropov.. williams.. kulemin...schenn...and .....................POGGE!!!!..unless some inexperienced loser takes the job and trades him for somebody we will eventually buy out

  • what does this video have anything to do with the Leafs?

  • Nikolai Kulemin got drafted by the Leafs

  • but I am sure he wants to play for the Sens more.

  • im sure he wants to play for the flames cuz they're gonna win the cup next year

  • LOL the flames will win the cup next year? LOL where did you get that from? that's the funniest thing I heard.

  • yeah them or the red wings but you cant say the sens have a better, they have no goalie

  • sure I am not even a Sens fan anyways but I think the Sens have more chance well it's just my opinion you don't have to agree on that. The Sens have Craig Hartsburg as their new coach. The Flames didn't make much changes this offseason it will be the Sens. BTW we never know how the Leafs might perform they are getting lots of young guns added to the team's roster just like the Oilers. Good luck Leafs.

  • you dont have to agree with me either but your right, the sens did get hartsburg and they also got rid of emery but the flames did pick up mike camilleri and if he stays healthy, he could definitely be in top 5 in goals and to see him with jarome iginla, that would be scary and with phaneuf, regher & miikka kiprusoff on the back end, the flames will be good

  • seriously the Sens have more chance of winning the cup than the Flames next season ask anybody that are not Flames, Oilers, Leafs or Sens fans and they'll tell you just that.

  • probably true..i can imagine them facing them the * gasp * lightning...they can put together a cup run this season

  • kulemin will eventually capt'n the leafs

  • he is not even in the Leafs roster and btw how do we know he is going to play for the Leafs?

  • because fletcher has already told the media that he will be recieving top 6 forward minutes. Hes already in toronto dude.

  • when did fletcher say that do u have the clip or article??????????????? i think he will make the team but i hope he is really that good in the nhl?

  • What if Mats Sundin decides to play for the Leafs for another season? He will still be captain. I watched Leafs game the past season and I can't wait to see how they perform in October I can foretell they will definitely make the playoffs and perhaps make it to Conference Final. In 1992 the Leafs didn't make the playoffs guess we Leafs fan all know what happened in 1993 right! C'mon October come quicker! I am losing patience!

  • leafs just need to be consistent.... they will make the playoffs if they are.. every year they go on a losing streak, and cant catch up....and i was BORN in 93 .. So.... not much memories...but i did see some of the game tape...and sundin, i just try to move on because he got 6 offers including that 20M over 2 years thing....hopefully cujo and toskala will have good chemistry, and i dont know about october...but in march...they will be playing games that actually mean something

  • ..opening night.. vs..blues? i think?

  • detroit

  • Leafs got something good in their hands...now don't fuck it up

  • AHAHAH .. i agree

  • OMG i wanna see him in a leaf jersey NOW

  • that's not going to happen so keep dreaming

  • we just have to .....wait :P

  • he has my number =)=)=)

  • STEAL

  • yo i cant wait for this guy to play on the leafs.. where is he and when is he going to start.. he was a 2nd rounder.. and if im not mistaken didnt toronto trade brenden bell and their 2nd round draft for yannic pereault?

  • Hes playing in russia right now with the super leauge, he is coming over next season and he is going to b at camp so hopefully next year we'll see him in the NHL, cant wait for him to get here and i hope he tears it up, leafs need some one like this

  • lol yes, but that was a future 2nd rounder :P not Kulemin, don't worry about that one my friend, he's all leaf haha, can't wait ^-^

  • if the leafs fucking trade him, im gunna be sooo pissed i might even become a sens fan for 10-15 min

  • same here, don't know about the becoming a Sens fan part, but I'd be very pissed.

    Fire JFJ.

  • lol yeah hes the biggest retard in the world

  • another useless comment. Your a fucking tool haha.

  • I can't wait to see him play for the Leafs! I love that goal, not only because it's a pretty one, but I'm a Leafs fan, AND it's against the Americans to boot. =)

But there's something wrong there, because the person that posted this video said it's the semi-final, which can't be true because Canada played the U.S. in the semi-final... or perhaps it's not the United States that's playing here.

  • im pretty sure it was the bronze medal game...and USA lost 6-2..??

  • i think finland beat usa for the bronze.

  • canada played finland in the semi final and won 4-0. canada played the usa in the last game of the round robin. your probably thinking of the 07 jrs, this is the 06

  • I see, I see. Thanks very much for clearing that up. =)

  • fuckin cunts when kulemin is comin through you step aside

  • wow cant wait to see him play for the leafs!!!!

  • finally they learn to draft russian fast talent

  • holy shiznickle is this guy going to be great for the leafs or what

  • can you say STEAL? go leafs!

  • mhm:)

  • This guy is going to be great for the Leafs.
