the part of the bill that calls for negotiations on Medicare payments is going to kill the bill. This will raise the cost of Medicare across the country and increase the cost of the over all bill. This blanket amendment has to be taken out of the bill. If small rural states need to adjust their Medicare payment higher in their state, let the states deal with it, not the nation!!!

A bill can be held for as long as the Senator who objects to the bill wishes to block its consideration.
