well, i did quit wow because it got boring... but seeing aion i dont like it, theres not much new there and it looks like WoW+Silkroad... yeah... some people might like it for the aerial combat thingy there and bit better graphics but id say wow is better than aion and i dont like wow either as i played it for 2 years and found out that i had spent way too much money on it. thats a big minus for aion too that its with a monthly fee which sucks. 9th sept ddo will become f2p so im gonna play that

ppl, please stop this talk about any game being a copy of another.. there is this little thing called copyright :p which means a company can't just copy others work -_- every game is built diferently with different designs which just happens to look a little alike.. it's different characters, spells. areas, names, npcs, creatures and so on.

This video ain't good tbh, it shows the newbie-steps of the game, wich is actually really lame, you should take gameplay of 15+ level char in flight zones. That's even some good gameplay. (Yes i've played in the Beta and it was THE BEST GAME EVAH)

I didn't say, at any part, that I am not a nerd myself, referring to the times I played WoW myself. And my point is: If you pay for WoW, you actually need to sit on computer 24/7 to actually get anything back for your money. When you buy gametime to Aion, the gametime doesn't expire even if you don't play it. Wich means you only pay for the time you actually play the game.

My point wasn't to blackmail nerds, we're awesome after all, without us there'd be no WoW or Aion.

As for this payment system, it's gonna flop so bad because the majority of players will pay and try it out, probably realise it sucks and stop playing. Then they will make no money in return.

that doesnt mean it's a wow rip off...all mmorpgs are like that...u just pretty much mentioned the basic format of all mmos, dipshit...and wow has copied other (older) mmo's...u just think that wow is so dominating, that it's its own game not generally copied or leeched from any older mmo...what really matters is the storyline..the controls can be all the same cuz basically that's the mmo format of gameplay and the only thing that matters is once again the storyline...

WoW is a clone of every other game that was out before WoW,  Lineage being one of them (The same guys that made Aion) WoW is not the original as it is a mish mash of other games.
