  • Would it taste any different if you excluded the lemon peels?

  • @vbRose17 You shouldn't really notice very much difference without

     the lemon peel.

  • There's so many holes :\ And it looks bitter...

  • "And by the way, the hairy arms aren't mine" lol :P

  • oooh i love it !! i will cook it now :D

  • it must be very bitter... because of the very dark caramel..

  • @fairyyyyuen Hi! no, it's not bitter. It contrasts quite well with the sweet. You can also leave the caramel on the heat less time so it's lighter.

  • C'est quoi ce recette en Français? Peut-tu me là donner??

  • It has cavities D:

  • I really like your recipe. I did a few modifications to hit my taste though :)

I uses a little bit of lemon juice instead of vinegar and I didn't let the caramel go too dark because I don't like it when it gets too bitter. I wait until it gets an amber color and take it from the heat to get an bitter-sweet flavor <3

  • i almost had everything i didnt have the foil ._. LOLOLOL

  • This is better! Thank you for the video.

I was looking for caramel recipe yesterday and watched at least a dozen videos, alas they were all American producing what I would call toffee or fudge rather than caramel.

You used lemon peels - does lemon juice do the tric instead of vinegar?

  • @loveyouforever79

Hi, Thanks for the comment. The vinegar helps to stop the caramel from hardening too quickly or you wouldn't be able to pour it in the moulds. I'm not sure if lemom juice would work, I must give it a try!

  • @loveyouforever79

Gee, I'm American and I've never seen or tasted ANY Flan or Creme Caramel recipe that produced toffee or fudge, as the topping. Just saying.....and I just knew those arms couldn't go with that beautifully soothing voice :) but then you never know!!

  • It gas holes so I don't think It would be delicous and the caramel is too dark it's probably bitter

  • I failed... I tried to make this for my Mom. I used fructose because she's a Diabetic, but i put in too much vinager... Luckily i made two portions of it without the caramel, and she kinda liked it:)

  • I just realized...the arm and pointing hand...is male

  • "by the way, the hairy arms aren't mine.." hahahaha!!!

  • xD lol I was wondering whose arms those were o.O

  • my custards keep coming out curdledly . it taste good .but it SOOO NOT NICE TO EAT

  • Nice video,..although the caramel is burnt and youre not supposed to stir it at any time,,as it causes crystalisation.

  • I love you're accent! Where are you from? You're video's are so fun to watch! I'll have to try this one out. As a young cook I'm nervous but I think it's worth it. Came out great :)
