  • Ensoñador y obviamente genuino.

  • This is one of a series of piano rolls, recorded by Granados, for the Welte company, so it really is an accurate recording of him playing

Reproducing player pianos, when properly restored and regulated, are capable of performances of astonishing beauty and subtlety. I had a number of rolls by Granados which I played on a Steinway - Welte upright. It was a great loss to me, when i had to sell it. It was a fine piano, despite being made by Steinway

  • BUFALA

  • a million thanks!

  • This is a wonderful hoax! The common name for Danza #5 is "Playera" and it is a "play" on the words "player piano." A piano roll could never provide the modulation or rubanto of this wonderful performance -- whoever the performer is. (much less the sound quality)..

  • @openifunbaba. Not a hoax at all. There are various authenticated Granados recordings (check it out via the links in Wikipedia). The technique of reproduction of the piano rolls is by TACET from the Welte Mignon originals.

  • - Recording from the old piano roll, 1913 ???

    - With so fantastic quality? Unbelievable !!!!

    -Is it realy plays Granados?
