Cliff, I figger that there are four major divisions among the PTB. Sometimes a couple of them work together against the others, sometimes they're all working against one another. Nothing firm in that opinion, but all of the indicators and research I've seen appear to lead that way. Throw in a potential for disclosure and things get interesting.

I agree with Cliff about questionable wisdom of decimating the population. If something catastrophic happens in 2012, e.g., nuclear war, biowarfare virus, asteroid strike, pole shift, whatever, an enormous event that reduces the population down to perhaps only a few hundreds of thousand, or maybe even tens of thousands of breeding age males and females, then you need the population to be as large as possible so that you have enough survivors to carry on the human race.
