@j0hnss0n I heard him say that he use the same drum kit since the 70, i dont know if you notice, but Charlie's drumkit is so basic and "poor". But i dont know anybody else to play with so fine and thin sound.
@j0hnss0n welcome to the brave new world of excess compression and limiting, sucking the lifeblood out of recorded drums as we use to know and love it.
Watch the close up of keith' tele. Low e string missing like some teeth in his mouth.
Shortly later he let adjust the nut and bridge, to be adapted to only 5 strings in open G. One simplification having such a great effect on the typical richard sound.
Taylor was the best. Bring him back Mick and Keith and reclaim your crown as the Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band of all time. And without doubt, Charlie is my darlin', he's in the groove. Love you Charlie!!
@IdolHans Love Taylor and bless him for his integral contribution to some of the greatest music by the greatest band, but I love Ronnie, too. And we mustn't forget Brian. But I believe that Brian-Mick T were the most creative years, but they're a better live act with Ronnie--though 1972 was a phenom tour.
Oh you are so terse and cryptic as if anyone here gives a flying fuck what you have to say about anything. Here's an idea for your evening: collect the pocket change from the back seat of your cab, go down to the all night chemist, buy a straight razor and then slash your fucking wrists. I've already suggested this to you at least once before, be a lamb, and follow through for once in your insignificant and superfluous existence. Cheers!
somebody knows what is the name of this documentary one? the truth I want that it to lower by you plow and not it encounter. I am thankful for the information to them.
Got a question for you Stevo, what exactly is a freelance Film Location Manager? Does that mean that you are really an unemployed production assistant? You are really living proof that someone with a dream and a drive to succeed can make it even in Tinsel Town. Mom and Dad must beam with pride every time your name comes up back in Chicago. You are really living the life Stevo.
I don't engage in discussions about music with septic engineers (is that what janitors are called these days?) but in your case, I'll make an exception. The fact that you see no continuity between being a Stones' fan and liking black R&B/Soul music, illustrates that you know very little about the Stones or their musical influences. Here's a hint: Ain't to proud to beg, If you really weant to be my friend, Goin to a go-go, Just my imagination, Shine a light, Let it loose, Worried about you.

Too bad they have three guitars in the band...unless of course you don't count the bass as a guitar, which it is.....sometimes they have four when Mick plays. Have you ever seen these guys? How's Rose Royce doing these days? Do they have two guitars or three? You know your a bad ass rockin Stones fan when ya dig Rose Royce. Ya know Elvis played Guitar, but he's dead now. So I guess he doesn't play anymore. Do you concur with me when I say Elvis was a fat pig who sold out?
great riff...seems like it had the making of a hit stones song.....much better than most of Goat's Head Soup and It's Only Rock n Roll which were mediocre at best
Midnight? Did I miss something? I thought I was paying a compliment to this jam. If you are offended by my dissing of GHS and IORAR, get over it...any true Stones fan, and Mick and Keith, will tell you those albums were throwaways...
Where did you get this TAB??!?! hehe ;)

It just gets in the way because the guitar is tuned to open G chord.

Yes he is playing in a tune called 'open G', wich needs you to remove the big E string. He has only string.

Mick Taylor is an amazing guitar player!

That particular guitar he's playing was given to him by Keith. Yes, he's excellent and what he did for the Stones saved them from falling apart.

Taylor's riff (look at his hands to find where to play the chords). It's my take, not more.
F slides to G, C
G, F, C (played lower than the previous one), G.
