So the question is does sexual response mimic drug responses or the other way around.

The problems with drugs is that they cause brain damage resulting in requiring more of the drug and furthering the damage. Results of requiring more drug is it consumes the person and only motivation is getting more drug.

Sexual response is fulfilling and because its natural the damage is not resulting and only boredom causes people to seek change in stimulation.

Drugs mimic natural pleasure responses.
