You do realise that there are so many early manuscripts of the New Testament scriptures around the world, that even sceptics such as Bart Ehrman concede you can be 99% confident of how the very original 1st century texts read?

The 'gnostic' gospels, which we know had such origins e.g. Mary etc, were discarded precisely because of their authorship!

@calihartley2010 cont'd 2) unspeakable crimes esp. against children were allowed to happen and were then covered up - even at the highest levels of the vatican - I refer you to the most current investigation - (The Murphy Report, 2011) which clearly demonstrates corruption throughout the church. As a former catholic and now an agnostic - its publications like the murphy report that reassure me that this organisation is certainly not "the one true faith" - but more a "good old boys club"!

In the Extraordinary Mass, the priest puts a drop of water (sins) on the wine (christs blood) to show that is not the water (sins) that corrupts the Church but is the wine that transforms the water in wine. Is Through the Sacramentals (Given by God) of the Church that a sinner can be transformed in a saint!

@newfrontier01 God never said that in the Church, sins will never occurs. The Church always knowed this. All the popes had their own confessors for this reason. Otherwise, God gived the opportunity of forgiveness and santification to ALL people who BELONG to the Church founded by HIM in LIFE. THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!
