I agree with you on your comment! I think some of the posts were made by viewers born after 1990 who didn't even see the original Spider-Man cartoon when it first aired. There's nothing gay about the cartoon and the story lines were much different back then and for the 1960s the animation was actually very good though limited. I mean, people who don't like the animation quality might as well criticize other 1960s cartoons like The Flintstones, Bugs Bunny, or Scooby-Doo...

I rather watch classic animation on Teletoon Retro (our version of Boomerang here in Canada) or online on several sites than the newwer cartoons on other stations like Family (the so-called Canadian version of The Disney Channel) or the newer cartoons on the main Teletoon channel- except for at night time when the good adult- themed stuff comes on like Robot Chicken or Metalocalypse. Mind you, Pinky and the Brain is really good, too but on the other hand can't beat classic 'toons!

The show got stupid when the adaptions of the comics stopped.They started create Adam West style villian.You can Bat Man on all poor tv in the 1960's,from Lost in Space to this.
on fox kids (now jetix) they showed a show it was a spiderman in a different world and he had a cape it would be good if it was on please, and hopefully thankyou
that would probably be spiderman unlimited and I think it's already up but prepare to be disappointed in the last ep, since it only ran for 13 episodes
