This video contains no documentation whatsoever: no quotes from bin Laden's speeches and writings, no quotes from Chomsky's speeches and writings. No sourcing whatsoever. This video is just puppetry, with the producer putting the words into the two men's mouths, never providing any evidence to justify them asserting the statements that each of them made in the video.
If there was any evidence provided, which showed a clear connection, then maybe this video would have been competent.
American values from a day gone by: individual freedom (from the government, primarily), individual responsibility (as is supported by Judeo-Christian values), and capitalism--each / all of these combined made America great.
Liberals so grossly misread the 1st Amendment. America DOES have a Christian CULTURE. It is our GOVERNMENT which is intended to be secular. Liberals--who are supposed to be so smart??--get so confused by that, but libs are basically ANTI-religion (they believe people should do whatever they want if it makes them feel good; no proscriptions on behavior) so they try to eradicate religion from ALL facets of our culture.
@joefriendly, yeah, capitalism IS A-moral, but that's why America's emphasis on freedom, combined with Judeo-Christian values--IN A DAY GONE BY?--helped the U.S. become the world's leading economy, but ALSO the land where people from all over the world dreamed of being. Now liberals do all they can to sterilize religiosity from our culture, and without those values, I agree that capitalism can be negative.
@joefriendly, how about MY utopia--a society where people value FREEDOM over wealth. Wealth per se is not bad, but as I say below, wealth is a relative thing, and your distorted ideas of 'social justice' ignore individual ability, individual desires, and more than all else you completely ignore any consideration of individual FREEDOM.
You basically define 'wealthy' arbitrarily, perversely ignore how wealth is created, and are blind to whether people are more or less free.
@joefriendly, you really have been brainwashed by the liberal elements of the media and academia, haven't you. Here is a concept that COMPLETELY escapes you: not everyone WANTS to be 'rich'. Should society encourage everyone to be 'rich'? In a place where those living 'in poverty' have cellphones, 2 cars, warm home, and are so well fed they're obese, what does it mean to be 'rich'?
@fromis111 -- come on, admit it, you mastur-debater, you either (1) want hot looking girls, or (2) you're a brown-dirt cowboy who putts from the rough.
If (1), let me make this clear to you: pretty girls / women think you're an ugly, grotesquely obese, bald smelly pig. Uh, news flash: hot girls aren't attracted to Buckwheat - Vidal - Chomsky - Mailer - etc obsessed "intellectuals."
If (2), well, just be sure to clean the fecal bits off the tip of your pickle when you're done.
I don't think noam chomsky has ever said he loved osama bin laden. He has several times mention what brutal of a monster osama was, but he simple points out that the most horrible acts of Osama bin ladin pale in comparision to the monsterous that have been preformed by the united states military.
Toward the end you try to nail Chomsky for being worth a couple million, as if he does his talking and writing for the money! Wow! What a twisted brain to resent his achieving, from so many books written and talks given, enough financial independence to actually think freely, rare tho that be these days. He is a national treasure!
@joefriendly no i'm just playing around, he doesn't do it for money or financial independence - he grew up in affluence - he doesn't want/need either of those things....this whole world doesn't make sense and i'm hoping one day we will finally have a communist revolution worldwide - i just like ripping on dudes who have a lot of money and talk a lot...he should give me his money i work so hard and i'm broke... :( fucking elitist he is...but i'm a loser, so that's why im broke, he's cool...
@puppywithfloppyears and while people are out there really suffering, he just crosses his legs and intellectualizes...thanks noam...go out and sweat little
@puppywithfloppyears chomsky lives in luxury, he's an elitist....everyone is a hypocrite so it's ok that he is too...it's just exhausting to see him inspire people - his ideas are already there...are we gonna act or just listen to him...meanwhile, he should give up his money...socialize now
@puppywithfloppyears Oh, just playing around! Never mind! Really? Spoofing the Hoover Digest whose cartoon caricaturing Chomsky with his cheek in loving embrace upon the money bag opens the piece? Oh, you're making fun of those damn Hoover folks, who want us to side with the wealthy few in the misguided hope we'll get rich too! It really doesn't come across doing the spoofing thing, excessive tho it truly is. Might Doom be avoided?
@joefriendly ok you're right. i don't know what is right anyways - i just know that this guy has a cult following, sure nobody is consistent, but really he should be more of a philanthropist - he should take what he needs and leave the rest. stop buying those fancy sweaters . in 1917 i'm not sure they would've liked him at all - i do think lenin jumped the gun, and sure marx was ritzy, nonetheless, chomsky is a member of the upper class, just like the people you are complaining about
@joefriendly chomsky is like the guy who delivers lectures at universities, and then when he walks outside and the homeless people ask him if they can come live with him because they are completely destitute, noam doesn't know what to do, and disregards them - it's a dilemma for sure, but the reality is noam could do a lot less talking and more investing - it's easy to talk - if he wants to preach libertarian socialism, it would be nice if he also lived by it - he's better than most talkers
@joefriendly workers are hungry, they don't need another intellectual - they need results - chomsky's ideas are nothing new, they are great ideas - i love them, they are also common sense, and we should all be living by them.... INCLUDING HIM
Capitalism is inherently lacking in morality and thus a cancerous force on the planet, making bad choices for the planet and its people. US foreign policy has been criminal, cruel, destructive, in the service of capitalism. Osama bin Laden and Chomsky criticized the US for the evil empire it is, as it proves again with its totally unjustified invasion of Africa via Libya. Your sick video is nonsensical and way too much "I want to kill you," tho that does seem your wish for Noam. Prefer Obomba?

This has no merit on any measure. Seriously - what good is there in this? It does not amuse and it does not prove any of the charges against him.
And I wish people would stop calling him a contrarian - he says that America is the freest country in the world, for instance.

Have you actually read anything chomsky has written?

I hope all of you have intensely good sex tonight, and that your orgasms are fulfilling.

Chomsky is a bit past his freshness date, even the REALLY extended warranty.
