anyway i don't get why there's more controversy about Cobain's death and not about El Duce's, he was by far a bigger loss.

In this very movie, you hear a recorded message of Kurt threatening to hire a mercenary to kill some English author who was publishing a tell all book about Kurt and Courtney, so the two of them had access to some very shady people. Don't believe me, watch the whole documentary, listen to the second recording where Kurt teases hiring a hitman, then says maybe he'll try it the legal way first.

Roz from Christian Death also died, allegedly from hanging himself, but I find it curious he also contributed an interview to this. I mean, for all we know, Nirvana could have been one big government conspiracy to further degrade the morality of youth to set us up to be more easily controlled. Think about it: If El Duce was involved in the murder plot, (and simply recommending a hit man would have made him an accomplice to murder one), do you think he'd be stupid enough to be laughing and joking about it on camera with people he doesn't even know? I don't think so. I think he said these things for nothing more than amusement, publicity or as he suggested in the interview, a beer. Also, CL and AW were apparently never questioned as suspects, more evidence of a hoax.

And I believe this because in my personal life I have actually known two people who have killed themselves like Kurt due to their individual drug problems. Like him they couldn't get off the shit, and suicide was just a far easier way out than rehab especially after several failed trips back and forth to various ones.

On the other hand, maybe someone else didn't want him to be found (at least, right away). I don't think there is the possbility of an accidental overdose in both the suicide and murder theories. Maybe Kurt did intend to kill himself with the gun but first wanted to dull the pain with a ton of heroin. Drugs can make you feel like superman sometimes, even downers, so maybe he actually was capable of lifting the gun and doing it himself. Theories abound.
