And when you grow up knowing something because your elders said it was true from day one, you never question it. Well that is, most people wont question it, much like they wont question the ground beneath their own feet. It's been there from day one, and its a belief on an almost subconscious level. @Goldtacto Actually, The Old Testement is older than 2000 years. Only the New Testement which is the foundation of Christianity is newer having been written after the death of Jesus Christ. The Old testement or if you prefer, The Hebrew scriptures, ( its christian form is 39 books reduced by 12 & 51 for the hebrew version and is believed to date back for its oldest books to the 13th century BC.
