  • Same method that Cory and Glock girl Erika (21emaxwell) teach. If you watch Erika, it's almost like this same video in technique with a female. She's a great shot now. I found you and sub'd as a result of being a sub of them with you as a "recommended" vid. So, the youtube networking does work. Glad I found ya. Great info. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

  • My only question is that I practice with one hand too, because the left hand will likely be busy pushing, blocking, holding something. I'd love to hear your response to how your method would work if the left is busy. Personally I use my right thumb to get under the garment up past the gun then down for the grip and out, although this video is still very helpful and this looks like a great way, just wondering if as universal as stated. Respectfully, thanks!!!

  • Glad to see u teach this.I was told to draw 1 handed, but with my size an clothing I wear I found I drew faster with both hands.

I draw the shirt up as my other comes around an takes the shirt.I'll try ur way an c if I do better.Ty

  • You da man James! This is reinforced simplicity at its finest. Using both hands to grab the bottom of the shirt is conducive with gross motor skills when that OH SHIT! fight or flight moment happens. Who better to realize this than a combat tested operator. It's so logical, so solidly simple... I'm greatly impressed. I'll be doing thousands of repetitions of this "double handed" draw until it's hard wired. This video needs to get out to the gun community! Thanks for this amazing upload James!

  • Nice, simple instruction. The offhand position as part of such a sure method to sweep the garment is perfect; that should be the way it's taught everywhere but about a dozen classes later this is the first time I've seen it taught that way. Is there a particular advantage to the 4:00 position for IWB? I usually carry and practice from the appendix because it conceals better (for me). Keep up the good work, James!

  • @SW34R3NG3N - Thanks for the kind words. Appendix is fine because you used the operative words ("carry" and "practice").

  • @JamesYeager Like SW34R3NG3N said in 15 years of training with a hand gun I have never seen that taught before but it makes perfect sense. Yo do an excellent job with training and tactics.

  • which model Galco holster are you wearing James?

  • @tomslovenski - The Galco "TRITON". I would prefer it had belt loops though instead of the belt clip.

  • I can already tell this is a more simple and smooth way to draw from concealment than I was taught. Thanks.

  • Sorry if you have already answered this question but, what IWB are you running in this video? Do you have a plain clothes favorite? Does cant effect this technique?

    Thanks for the range fuel.

  • Can you do some shooting videos one from Regular and one from ankle concealment and also one from the pocket i would love to see them full speed with live rounds

  • I am too fat James to carry a G19 IWB.

  • @rdy357 - Geez

  • Thank you James... Your videos are always great...

  • @TampaCary - Thanks!

  • Please do a video on pocket carry. I keep a Kahr CM9 in my strong side pocket.

    Thanks!

  • @FriendofCat - Will do!

  • is Tennessee a conceal carry only state?

  • @reaper34 - Open Carry is STUPID.

  • @JamesYeager - just wondered man, I don't OC.

  • @JamesYeager thank you!

  • @reaper34 In TN you can carry either way but carrying exposed is about the most STUPID thing you can do. Carrying exposed makes you a target and gives up your element of surprise. It's also good way to get shoot in the back, or to have your weapon end up in the wrong hands. I haven't had the financial opportunity to attend one of Mr.Yeager's classes and I'm no expert but in a high stress situation the element of surprise is all you have after all the good guy reacts most the time not acts.

  • Good stuff man... thanks.

  • nice

  • Great info. Thanks!

  • I really like that technique!!!

  • Do you have any holster suggestions for someone in a "business casual" to "business" environment where you need to keep the weapon concealed, but it would be frowned upon to run around with your shirt un-tucked all the time? Both my OWB and IWB holsters seem to interfere too much to make it practical, and I feel like a shoulder holster would get in the way all the time as I'm fairly active in my job, though I've not actually tried it.

  • Now I have to practice that. I never thought to use both hands to expose the weapon. Always tried to expose the weapon with one hand and then draw, Your method looks MUCH faster. I plan on hitting the range in the AM, so I will have to try this a few times with an unloaded gun first. Thanks for the video.

  • Excellent video

  • i cant owb carry, too skinny. but i loove my g19

  • @Glockcrazy19 - I hear this same excuse all the time. "I am too skinny" or 'I am too fat." Its all bullshit.

  • Jack and his damn tropical shirt.

  • GREAT VIDEOS, KEEP THEM UP. THANK YOU

  • Nice shirt! I am wearing mine right now! - David

  • what holster is that?

  • @burky417 - Galco

  • Great video!!

  • Excellent video with sound technique. Thank you.
