  • One of You Tube's best if not the best blues guitarists...Fantastique mon ami

  • Great job! I was expecting a version of Alvin Lee's 'Slow Blues In C', but this was nice, too. Only...I'd call it 'Mid-tempo Blues In C'. : )

  • nice tone, great playing need I say more!

  • very clean -- nice.

  • Very Nice playing.

  • omg, the 62Ri looks soo good in this video. just look at the orange, red and black. its perfect. and the sound!!!

  • Hi Uke it sounds real cool man, cheers Tony

  • nice guitar man

  • I Love How You Put Your Funny Facial Expressions With like Every Note You Play

  • Nice playing! I love it,I feel it.

  • it doesnt sound like a real strat sound too dim

  • @cottoneyejoe1 probably because he's using the front pickups

  • Great Playing!

  • Very nice :)

  • well if its boring, dont watch it. were not forcing you too, unless you jealous. what a muppet.

  • i didnt mean to be rude, it was just my opinion, when you upload a video on youtube is part of the game that you accept every kind of comments. Is not a nice thing to delete comments you dont like.

I think he should try to get out of that minor pentatonic box, it would sound much more interesting. Its very difficult to be creative playing always inside that box, unless you are stevie ray vaughan, of course.

    just my 2 cents

  • nice guitar, check out my vintage 66 strat, i think you'll like it. i am playing through a crappy line 6 amp though, haha. still sounds ok none the less

  • hey man, can you guide me to the backing track youre using in this vid? 5 stars btw

  • Kassad...do you have a band youplay in? cuz this dont sound like any weekend hacker to me......tight, and heavy....

    Rick

  • that boost pedal that you use is the Yngwie Malmsteen Signature. A very good choice. Good job.

  • smooth blues in C man.gonna check out more... peace

  • im starting to improv, where do you get those backing tracks to improv with?

  • @LeTHaL0x All over youtube man , just type in like Blues backing track in ____ <------ Insert Key here, E is probably the easiest key to play in. for me anyways

  • @LeTHaL0x youtube it, type backing track and type what key it's in and put ballad jazz or blues

Ciao.

  • re issues suck...get a real vintage......not bad though.......very stereo type blues playing though...thats my only criticism.

  • 1983 usa strat RI 62' $> 2009 USA strat..

  • You are the best really played nice and relaxt

i want to play just like you

    You ROCK dude

    YOU GOT THE BLUES

    very eric clapton-ish.

  • nice man, i enjoyed your video

  • that's really good loved it !!

  • very good!

  • Great tone man!

  • Very nice tone.

  • nice dude...

  • as awesome as that was, you need to remember that there are other scales to play the blues in besides the pentatonic

but like i said, that was really fun to listen to, great tone and feel

  • thanks !

Yes i know, but i'm such a lazzy player... ;)

  • Amazing playing!

  • Hey men, i´ve been following ur videos, dude u hav a particularly blues jam style really cool men, keep on the good work and post more videos 4 ur fans ;) later men

  • its man (singular) not plural (men)

  • thanks. I played since i'm 15, but i'm a lazzy player. ;)

  • @Kassad62 lazy only has one z

  • nice man... learned stuff here... awesome

  • amazing... fucking amazing. I'm doing a blues talk for the year 9s at my old school in a couple of weeks. I'll be sure to refer them to this :-)

  • great honor for me. but there are so many better blues player than me around here. ;)

  • wat were ur amp settings wen u did this

  • Thanks. For me, yes it worth the buy.

Close to SRV sound. Yeah, i think so. ;) But you must have the right amp behind, the right fingers, and the soul. :)

  • very nice blues.. but it looks like you're wearing a dress :D

  • i wanna buy DOD YJM308...is it the same effects that yngwie malmsteen was using in the video of the demonstration?

  • I don't know very doo YM. I used his effect, because i think it's a good clear boost. ;)

  • Looks like fun. Nice job, man.

  • Sounds good dude!

  • slt ! Merci...

  • Nice...but USE THE WHOLE NECK! That's what it's for!;-)

  • That's because i'm afraid to scratch it... :D

  • fantastic!

  • Don't know if your aware of another great player. He's not really Popular like Buddy Guy, or Robert Cray but in my opinion he should be. Ian Moore look for his song Satisfied. Think you'll like it.

  • thats good but one thing that in blues sux is that its repetetive...

  • Blues is only repetitive if you're no good at it. Anyway, its about expressing emotion... Nevermind.

  • wow! what a tone

i like your playing with a little more ggain as in this video.

  • I'm turkısh cok mukemmell olmus

  • Got some real licks goin on man. Now go get some inspiration from "Ten Years After's" Alvin Lee. Listen to a cut called "Slow Blues in C". If you keep adding to you knowledge, there's no telling where you'll go.

  • thanks for the advice. Never listen Alvin Lee's music. I will. ;)

  • nice sound but you should use more scales

  • what software did you use for the pattern?

  • There is no software, only a backtrack in mp3. ;)

  • tabs please

  • no tab for this, sorry, it's only improvisation. ;)

  • Yes i agree too, maybe you spend to much time in the same position playing the same notes. maybe add more cord combination from the scales you like, to make it more rythm as well.

  • i was joking. ;)

There is always period, that you feel you're doing always the same things. The good way to get out this situation is to listen different music i think. ;)

  • yes , you`re true, but doesn`t matter, your blues were awesome

  • i have pretty much watched every vid u have of you playing blues now lol, and ebery time i listen to one i have to pick up the guitar and start jamming lol.,i cant help. SRV in there for sure..and blues is just the pinicle of guitar for me, and im only 17 lol !!!

  • Thanks. ;)

So, why are you here ??? Go play your guitar and make some blues !!!!

    :D

  • you don't have to be technical to make music. Look at Michaelangelo Batio. He is insanely skilled, but his music sucks.

  • Yeah, you're absolutly right, i'm from France... ;)

  • Great Sound and very nice playing :-)

  • cant wait to get there !!!!

  • excellent!

  • thanks mate!

  • I have watched many of your videos and you always sound better and better. Which marshall model are you on? i also have that amps and was trying to get a sound like that?? keep up the good work!

  • Hey thanks !

Hmm, the amp was UK 70 if i remembered well, or maybe th 70. But i'm 90% sure it was the UK Blues. ;)

  • you are self taught aren't you? good stuff

  • You know, i take lessons during a year when i was 15, and that's all. I think it's very important to have the basics. And after this year, i stopped taking lessons, and continue by myself, playing with bands.

The best way to learn, and now i'm closed to 32... ;)

  • im turning 16 in a couple months and ive been playing for about 3 years now and im self taught. I will try to get some vids up since we have very similar styles but mine has a more david gilmourish influence. Good playing btw i love your strat

  • Hey thanks.

You know, i just play music for me and my family at home, after the work. ;)

I'm glad you appreciate it. Yeah, Leo was a genus. I thank him for invented this so great guitar, the Stratocaster !

  • Great sound!

  • you play wery good!

  • hey man its realy nice sound I like it too much and the DOD YJM308 is great pedal.anyways thanks for a video....

  • Hey thanks ! you know this pedal ? Do you use it ?

  • As always, great phrasing and spacing. Absolutely tasty blues licks. My favorite subscription. Thanks!

  • Toujours aussi inspiré Kassad62 ! Cool...

  • Very Nice. Does your strat drop out when you bend around the 22nd fret?

  • nope... ;)

  • You're the man!

  • again flawless playing!! I love u´re use of timing and dynamics! 5 stars

  • You made great use of the distortion. It reminded me of Eric Clapton. Great playing, as always!

  • thanks.

    It's american. It's a reissue of a 62 stratocaster model. ;)

  • Great playing, nice sound!

(Is the Strat a MIA or a MIM?)
