cont.- and I don't have any loans or financial aid to pay back. even though schools like this teach some basic skills, they're not in depth when it comes to career readiness. also their job placement isn't as guaranteed as they make it out to be so expect to hit the ground running to look for a job yourself if you decide to go to this type of school.
another FOR-PROFIT school hustling people in to debt. schools like this are not well known in the workforce sector. People, if you really want a good job or career, please invest in going to a Comm. College and don't waste time or money on schools like this and wyotech. that 30k debt will strain your credit rating especially if you can't find a job. I went to a comm. college, got an associates and 5 certificates and got a job as a mechanic with starting pay of $28 an hr.
@mack70214 smart move there bud.... and that really is a good starting wage.. but i believe that it doesnt matter what school you go to as long as you are willing to learn and i think everybody should be aware of the cost... college is expensive period other school costs a lil more but it is up what you prefer..
@Malikot911 I agree. If you choose a suitable career that you want to do for a while or the rest of your life and you need the the necessary skills to do the job, make sure the demand is there from the time you start school and when you finish so the job will be easily obtainable without the hassle of looking.
@Malikot911 CONT- when I started school, 3 places were looking for maint. mechanic and 7 places were looking for welders. when I finished, the number had almost doubled plus, the instructors I had welcomed recruiters from these jobs and gave students recommendations when they finish.
You can't learn everything in a year dumb asses, the teachers at the school is stupid. You can't possibly learn everything in one year! Then you'll have to pay the 30k in government loans, notice the school doesn't get grants from the government?? That's becuause even the government knows the kids that graduate have no way in hell of a chance to make enough money in the future in tax revenue! Take it from a shop owner who hires these so called graduates for the last 12 years!
This is the dumbest commercial to represent a great school. I don't hit my alarm every morning and jump out of my freshly made bed with a smile, skip out of my furnished apartment and fist bump the hot rod instructors. This is a college, times are tough and and school can drag on some times. But you get out what you put in. And the instructors here definitely know there stuff and love what they do. Typically the ones ragging on the school are the guys failing the tests and doing the bare minimum
Alright it's kinda boring at times but uti has helped me a lot... I work at a dealership and have my ASE's I wouldnt have been able to do any of this without uti.
exactly, now I work on electric trains and what they really want there is an electrical engineer, same money and i could have gone to a CC and been hired on as an A-Tech
this video is nothing like when i go to school lmao but I do enjoy the time I do spend in school its an overall good time. My instructors are all cool and relaxed and help us with anything. LAME video GREAT school
Im a mechanic at a dealer....Lets be real here, the smoke and mirrors of all the racing clips feed kids to this school. If you dont want to relocate to a coast best bet when these kids get out is,and a dealer or small shop....And that comes from freinds that DID go to Wyotech and UTI.
@adv512 - don't talk bad about UTI if u didn't finish the courses, I'm a current student down in Avondale , AZ , its also up to you to ask the right questions don't just depend on a Instructor take advantage and take every bit of info that you can so of course your gonna learn more in the field we all do but this is to get everyone started

as an ex-student at uti-rancho
i did not learn MANY things.
for example the rubber doughnuts that go around many U-joints.
was never informed how they work or how to replace them.
i am glad i did not complete the program, i have learned much more working on my own as am amateur mechanic
