Where Leo survived or not depended on whether Josh Duhamel had a successful career upon leaving. He obviously did so Leo stayed dead. They left the door open for him to return though.
I'm glad he's coming back. Little confused on how David pulled it off but maybe he'll explain it and I hope Leo stays longer than 2 days or so. I think he spent 2 days on set so who knows.

yeah ur right but theres this guy that looks so much like josh (and im not sayin that anyone can replace him as leo bcuz he made that character so..indescrible) but i think that Jonathan Bennett from mean girls looks a little like josh if not a lot and hes a great actor.....and i just found out like 2 seconds ago he was once in all my children lol my bad.
It's pretty clear that Leo survived the fall. I say he got amnesia and Vanessa (who also survived the fall) spirited him away to another country. They resumed their lives as cons, and Leo never remembered PV or that he had a wife. Until... oh how I wish JD would return to the show, but I know it'll never happen. :(
I would love for that to happen that would be such a great way for Leo to reuntie with greenlee...I doubt that JD will come back but they could always recast
@Cathie8791, agree as he survived the fall. Josh will never come back though, so the only other option is recast. And I don't think that's a good idea either. Part of what makes GreenLeo unforgettable is that they weren't tarnished by changing HWs. Espcially, today's soap writing is a travesty.

yes, changing HW's can kill a couple! Look at how Guza on GH has botched the return of VM and made the character of Brenda something she totally wasn't when she first returned. It's like, do these people not pay attention to the history of the soap at all. because we fans know it pretty well!

Hasn't she though?! The girl has suffered more than enough for whatever wrong-doings she may have committed. But, this has to be one of her worst, most painful time of suffering she's ever experienced.
I say have both Vanessa and Leo survive and Vanessa basically took care of an amnesiac Leo who didn't remember Greenlee but then he does and rushes back to Pine Valley.
I would love to see Angel Leo come back and visit Greenlee, Jack, and Erica; Also I would love to see him confront Aidan, Babe, Ryan, and Zendall!! What about you guys?
Aidan: Shaming him on the ONS he had with Kendall, leading to Greenlee's heartbreaking.
Babe: the Baby-Snatch of his best friend, Bianca.
Ryan: The horrible things he did to Greenlee (including faking his own death!!)
Zendall: The way that they treated Greenlee making her life hell (fake embryos/kidnapping set-up) all because she kidnapped Spike for 30 minutes & thinking that Greens made their son deaf!!

I would agree with that, but look at what Dixie is doing and same with GH's Alan, they are haunting the people who hurt their loved ones, shouldn't Leo haunt the people that hurt Greenlee? It's just a thought!!

Vanessa was a fabulous victim. I love maj Dusay!! I am not an amc fan but i watched and loved this storyline. How great is Vanessas laugh as she goes over the falls.
This was sad. Vanessa fired like 4 shots at Greenlee...Leo attacks Vanessa and they both had a bad fight for the gun...Trey reaches the top and watches in horror as the railing breaks, and both Leo and Vanessa fall 100 feet! Leo manages to get the gun, but was too late.

I think Josh brought something so incredibly special to the role - so they have to be EXTREMELY carefully if they ever choose to recast Leo.
I agree though that the time seems to be very right for Leo to return now that Greenlee wants to marry his brother.
