Hey dude calm down. I was talking about Pink Floyd because I was agreeing with someone. And yes I've smoked to pink floyd several times while I was in high school, DSOTM & Animals are okay albums but there is a lot more depth to be found in the bands I listed.
Pelican is great. Tool is great. Their different kinds of bands, different genres. Both have a way of transcending, in my opinion, but they are still different. I love them both, for different reasons. This is a fantastic song.

You probably just are one of those kids who hear crazy fast kick pedals or blast beats and think thats what complex drumming is.
Larry plays some very very hard stuff, not in kick pedals, but in timing, transitions, etc.
If you were to take lessons you would know, ive been drumming almost 8 years and to this day pelican holds me down on some songs i cant figure out.
Try playing sirius, then get back to me.
