The cbc braintrust took the resource boom, google "ring of fire",and all its issues ie: native land claims, big money, greedy miners, added ice pilots, alot of drama sex and all that stuff. Stuff , that can turn boring reality into sucess ( ie the series ER... p.s. hospitals dont run like that! ) viola artic air!! Hah , the reality is the natives up here "own" a few airlines, non natives run, fly and work them, (natives dont want to) feds subsidize them, (and they are still money losers).

One of my absolute favorite Canadian productions of late is "Flashpoint". I think it's just wonderful. I saw the "pilot" (pardon the pun) for Arctic air a few days ago. I wasn't overly enthused. Maybe it will get better. Another good show (imo) is Rookie Blue. I hope this one improves, cos I'm a real Adam Beach fan.

I want to see those young ladies rolling fuel drums up a Dak floor, on a hot day, stripped to the waist (because on a hot day you would die if you didn't). No blackflies please, it'd ruin the atmosphere, and their flawless skin. Can't see why they have so many engines burning in the previews, since it seems they never have enough fuel in the tanks to sustain a fire! Honestly, the only way this show could be made interesting to real pilots, male OR female, would be if the cast WAS naked. CBCrap.
