I think that you should wait til Windows 7 comes out which is like in October.

When you go to best buy, ask the computer experts to help you find a laptop that fits your needs : )

I don't like MAC computers because they are wayyy too expensive but that's just my opinion : )

They are not that expensive. Their laptops are quite competitive. You are paying around 100-200 dollars more for a Mac but that doesn`t factor in the difference in manufacturing costs. I.E. Mac=Aluminum+Glass, and the lack of bloatware.

Macs are priced a heck of alot better now then the mid 90`s.

Hi, I really like the Mac book, and the photo quality is great and always easy to work with especially while making videos. I did not want to spend the extra cash at first either but now I think it is well worth the investment.

Well for the redness in your eyes, you should use some cooling eyedrops. Feels great, wakes you up & gets rid of the redness instantly.

I have a SONY Vaio, which I like a lot. Has built in bluray player w a nice 17" screen. I wouldn't do a MAC notebook. Honestly, they're very over priced. Such a high in demand product right now, its ridicilous. You should either wait, or get a Vaio notebook but get something you want & not just for the mean time.

i am the apple expert at the best buy i work at and i would only recommend the air if you are only going to use it for surfing the web, email and yes your blog tv lol. we get so many returns on it for people trying to use it like they would a macbook pro. it is nice but i think it is over priced but you know apple they truely have a reason to be costly they work! hope that helps and if you have any questions about electronics feel free to message me im a nerd when it comes to that

i say return the vaio, dont get the mac air, buy the mac pro, but find a student that u know to get it for u bc right now they have this student deal thing going on for all mac books, when you buy a mac book you get a itouch for free! i think its a mail in rebate thing, im too sure but u should look into it more :) and if u dont need to the itouch you can give it away or resale it :D

I've been using all the latest mac laptops and they all SUCK. The webcams are not impressive by any means - the microphones are totally unreliable. Just check out the webcams IN THE STORE before you buy your computer to see if you're satisfied. Do remember than any integrated laptop webcam you get is never going to look as good as a handheld digicam. Even the separate webcams you can buy will be better than anything that comes in a laptop.

I'm not sure about the MacBook Air but I've only heard REALLY good things about it so I don't think you could go wrongg.

I am on a Sony Vaio VGN-NR120E right now and it's a little slow.. had it for maybe a year and never cleaned off the extras computers always come with so it takes forever to shut down. Doesn't even have a cam.. But I've dropped it on concrete in a thin fabric case (I've got butterfingers) and it's unscathed. I prefer Windows because it's all I've known but..macs are fast as far as I've seen & better for things like photoshop and artists. Buying a webcam would prob be simplest though.

Sony Viao's are good, not sure about their webcam. The Mac Book's are good too. I hear their camera is pretty good also. Another thing that's cool about the MAC's is that they're capable of using both Windows and MAC. Some people are afraid of using/buying a MAC because of the fact that so many programs are made for windows. Well, with MAC's (newer ones) you can switch btwn Windows and MAC by just hitting a button.

MAC's also offer more (and better) video editing software standard on them.

I have both the macbook pro and macbook air. I bought the air last year because I thought it would be easier to carry around to my lectures in school. It gets heated up really quickly; it takes about 30 minutes for it to heat up compared to the couple hours my pro takes. I rarely use it because the camera quality is horrible compared to the pro. Your better off keeping the pro. I hear "asus" or "acer" makes good "mini laptops".

I bought a MAC 2 years ago and will never buy a PC again. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I cannot tell you how many Dell's, Gateways' Ive owned... now THOSE people suck at customer service. I took my macbook to an apple store because I was an idiot and sprayed the keyboard to clean it.. and ruined it. The guy took it in the back, and replaced it with a new keyboard. NO CHARGE .. and my computer was out of warranty. All computers have issues IMO.. but I am stoked about my MAC.

DO NOT GET a MAC!!!! Get a regular vaio....because MAC customer service sucks. I have been having problems with the mic on my macbook and I've sent it to them to fix it 4 times now and it still is not fixed. Every time I go and talk w/one of their "geniuses" they always try and make me sound crazy like there's nothing wrong-when there is (I've compared the sound w/my boyfriend's macbook.) So do not invest in another MAC computer!!!

i would say that the cameras are different, but to me, i don mind having either.

macs are so pretty and seem so simple, but if you don becareful, it can easily fall apart :(

also, what i don like about having a mac pro is eeeverything is totally different than a normal computer..

you have to have all different programs and the most annoying part..

tha parts and pieces if lost or damaged = too much $..

If you want a light laptop. For minimal usage get the MACBOOK air. If you want to use it for a lot of functions get the MacBook pro. Sony vaios are just pretty. And the cameras in all of them are crappy. :)

If I were you, I would return the sony vaio. This is what I did and instead I bought the MB Pro, which was great!!! The camera quality on MB Pro is amazing!! Few months later my house was robbed and the computer was gone :/ I was kind of tired of carrying heavy computer around, and also thinking that I do not really need that powerful computer as MB Pro, I went for MB Air. MB Air is great as well, but the camera quality sucks - compare to MB Pro. Hope this helps to make up your mind :)

Lol Lorraine, sony vaio is a PIECE OF SHITTT, get yourself an Asus computer, go to best buy and ask to see where they have Asus, then you will see they have this really thing black one, it's only 1.3" thick, it's a very good go anywhere with computer, with awesome performance. It's only like $679.99 versus and apple being $1,499.99, and yet it performs just as good with a huge 500gb hard drive.

My suggestion for mascara with plastic wands ---- only use them on the tips of your lashes.

They are generally great for the last finishing touch.

But use a softer brush at the base of your lashes.

I have the same experience - when I use plastic brushes - they rip out my lashes. - but I don't throw them away - I use them as a final touch on the tips.

i honestly would get an hp pavilion entertainment thingy laptop hp webcams are amazing my brother has one i have an hp touchsmart tx2 and i would reccomend that to you but it does cost 1055$ it has a great webcam too but it has a tochscreen and the hp that my brother has is about 850$ but in your situation i would keep the vaio because my mom has the air for work and it crashes all the time plus the harddrive sucks so ya

I bought the sony Vaio in the past 4 years and every single Vaio laptop have broken after 13-14 months of regular use. So after the 3rd Vaio, I decided to go with the macbook. The pro macbook is nice but its bigger and heavier and personally not what i am after. I wouldn't go with the airbook personally because when I had a look at them, they seem to be a bit flimsy. If you decide on a macbook, get the one where the keyboard lights up. You can actually see what you are typing.

Hi Lorraine! I'd definitely recommend a MacBook Air, i love, love, loveee mine! it comes every where with me. its suppppper light and thin so fits in all of my handbags. i also had the dilemma over MBA vs net book, but i decided that id rather have a full size key board and a real good operating system. my air has brilliant battery life and it looks super cute lol i know people say bad things about them-but i think those people dislike Mac in general!

i love your BLOGTV! and really i think return the small laptop if it was sorta exoensive? get another cheaper smaller one like the acer atom intel one (which is cheap but amazing i own many laptops and its a great netbook) and buy a really goood webcam which are 80 dollars. you same money have a webcam that you can attach to any computer and your netbook and with the money you save buy a macbook pro. cause the mac book air sucks, trust me waste of money!

RETURN IT. apple has TOP OF THE LINE computers, they will never let you downw hatsoever. the vaio is iffy, its whatever, its def. not the same as a macbook. go for the MACBOOK AIRRR
