The streetcar is not from Orange Empire. The movie company found a streetcar body in the midwest, built a rubber-tired chassis for it and gave it a PE paint job (the real PE 331 stayed at OERM). Did anyone notice the Model "T" Ford? Made me think of Laurel & Hardy!
That's not a fake trolley car. It's Birney Safety Car #331 from Pacific Electric, on loan from the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, CA (near Riverside). Put it under an actual electrified wire and it still runs.
