  • when i hook up the cables i dont have the opinion of putting it on computer it only comes up as hdmi component and av!! help plz

  • Where would I get a cable like that?

  • lol this only works if you tv has a vga connector.

  • what if your using rgb ? to connect to the tv andd like the entrance to thee laptop is the same one as you havee ? would it work ?

  • @ fredfed5 just get a RCA,s-video,or hdmi to VGA and then simply plug it into the computer monitor that's what I did

  • Ur so wrong thts a VGA cable and the cable tht u use for sound is a audio cord for if u want to play music on ur stereo and stuff the headphone jack cord basically and ur way off on computers plus wat if u didn't have a VGA slot...didn't mention tht

  • i connect mine to my tv but it says "No Support" on my tv!

  • im on my tv and i dont get that option of the TV please help

  • yeah fuck u.. you are using a vga cord.. ,,!,,

  • Fuck Off This Is a VGA cable

  • Is that a VIZIO tv? got the same one :)

  • thats so easy what i want tot know is how to hook your game system into a computer screen my computer screen is nicer then my tv and i want to know how to hook my wii to my computer

  • WHAT IF YOUR TV IS OLDER, ARE THEIR CABLES TO CONNECT LAPTOPS TO SAY 2002 TV'S ?

  • no memes eres bien cabron

  • That would be a VGA for the laptop...

Ps. you should turn your computer and tv off first.

  • That would be a VGA for the laptop...

  • noob

  • 2:16 wat is da name of da song the is bouncin yo

  • Its Not RGB its VGA!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You idiot

  • thats VGA NOT RGB THIS IS FAIL

  • is this HD?

  • @Gamerguypwnsnoobs yes using a vga cord you can display in hd as long as your computer can out put it

  • @ajselectronichelprs Wrong im a tech. and its a vga cable first of all. VGA cables cant put out hd it doesnt have enough power to put it out. "ONLY HDMI, COMPONENT CABLES, AND DVI can put out HD get that straight

  • @rosyec hi, I have trouble connecting my PC to Samsung 32" TV, I use VGA to Pc and DVI output to TV, but it shows "mode not supported" I dont know what to do to work it out, does the resolution has something to do about it? Coz when I adjust the resolution from my 17" monitor upto higher then it will show balnk. Plz. what to do?

  • @MyAngela1973 VGA is analog and DVI is digital. Use DVI-to-DVI or VGA-to-VGA. VGA-to-DVI cables can't convert analog output from your PC to digital input required by your TV without a special circuit.

  • does this only work on flatscreens?

  • @WrathOfLucifer you could do it on other tvs however you may need other cables and adapters

  • @WrathOfLucifer if your tv isn't flatscreen, change resolution on your pc to non flatscreen resolution!

  • funy when he got the cabel and hit the camera next time put your camera some where else lol

  • @ajselectronichelprs Hey can i hear the sound from my tv if i do this to my computer?

  • @uchihasauke5 Yes if you want to hear audio out your tv speakers you will need another cord that will run from your headphone jack to your tv

  • @ajselectronichelprs unless u have an hdmi cable

  • @uchihasauke5 Use HDMI assuming your computer has HDMI output. HDMI cables carry both audio and video in a single cable.

  • Hey nice job but its called a vga cable ( thats the correct term :) )

  • its VGA cable

  • 0:07 fail xD

  • What really RGB yeah I also thought that it looks to me like a VGA Cable. Of coarse then I did also find that with some cables like the Ethernet Cable I think I was told that one has more than 1 name, but I don't know about the VGAs.

  • your not a computer, u using a laptop.

  • awsome but wait a min u h..ave a laptop ok the answer is pc so gooooo fuck your selfff u such a asssshole change your fucking brain thank u but not awsome

  • First Of all its called VGA Not RGB. This way will only work with an HD tv. For the old standard definition TV's You have to have a PCI-e or AGP video card with S-video. And your computer has to have either an AGP or PCI-e Expansion Slot. You Should delete this and make a new video.

  • @4468861989 idiot.. if you have a Desktop, look for a Blue Black or w/e cord, that looks like his, and it plugs into a plug that looks EXACTLy like the one he showed, on his computer at time 0:28, the Longer of the two.

  • You should not connect cables between computer and tv while the computer is on

  • lol i got same laptop and tv as u

  • you guys only buy the Big TV´s just for the fuc..... computer!!!!

  • No i bought my "big tv" as you call it, to watch tv on, this meaning that you dont know everything that you think you know

  • good job Kiddo!. just 0ne question; have you ever tried to use the HMDI imputs to connect your laptop to your LCD? what did they tell you?

  • is the VGA male to male?

  • i think it is u go to the store tell the what you want to do

  • Yes it is

  • @kemdo123 that dosent sound right

  • @kemdo123 yes!, but if you have an HDTV use DVI to HDMI cable

(make shure ur video card has a DVI port)

  • let me make it simple.

    YOU WILL NEED:

    1) a 15 pin male to male VGA cable (for the image)

    2) an auxiliary cable (for the audio)

    3) a laptop/desktop

    4) a tv that comes with a VGA socket (usually latest hdtv's come with VGA socket, older tvs use s-video)

step 1: connect the VGA cable to the VGA sockets on your laptop and tv

step 2: select computer/pc mode for the tv

step 3: connect aux cable to headphone socket on the laptop and the other end to audio socket at the back of the tv.

  • K i have a stupid question:

Whats the diff between VGA and RGB???

I only ask because (to me at least) they look the same....

  • btw i used the cable u used, but cant find the correct channel

  • i plugged mine in, and i went onto the HDMI channel, but it still says no signal. my computer makes that noise that proves that its connected, but wont come up on my screen. the sound is the same as the sound that u hear when u pit in a usb. it still says no signal. need help plz asap

  • You still need the audio cables even if you use an HDMI cable. For some reason the video is all that get processed when using with a computer.

  • try going on your desktop on your laptop and right click >>>> personalization >>> display settings >>>> then you should see two black boxes with a 1 and a 2 on >>>> click on the two box >>>> then cross off extend my desktop to this monitor and this is my main monitor that should hopefully work and whilst doing that try dragging the number two box around the 1 box
