  • This is almost darkwave - quite Danse Societyesque!!!! Fantastic!!! Anyone know whether the early stuff like this is on anything available out there????

  • @Criddington why compare

  • 80ds!!!!!!

  • Love the bass in this song.

I think this suits Pete's voice best...but he's still amazing with the HI-NRG music.

His voice reminds me of a fallen angel...Beautiful.

  • Love this track. One of the best! My mom was in her 20s during the 80s and she got to see DOA in concert...when she told me that I nearly died. I'm sooo jealous ):

  • oooh this is some bad ass shit!!!

  • What a song!!! I was fortunate to see Dead or Alive in their heyday and witness songs like this.

Used to go to Probe Records in Liverpool and see Pete there, even got his autograph on this single (vinyl of course)

Can remember his black eyes !!!!!!

  • Just have to say thank you for all the great bands that came out in eighties that originated over there in good old England. It helped create such a great scene in the states!

  • ピートの声にうっとりです。

    貴重なものをありがとうがざいます。

  • どうやってこの曲入手したのですか? Rareものですよね。DOAのデビュー曲聴きたかったのでありがとうございます!

  • Sounds also like an old BERLIN song, great track !

  • Great track, that intro drumming sounded like "Rock and Roll All Night" from Kiss.

Damn, this stuff is crazy cool!

  • FUCK YES!!

    Love you for this

  • I still love this track, and all the memories of Probe Records. Happy days.

  • I'm Falling, excelente cancion de la primera epoca de Dead or Alive, soy un amante de la musica de DOA, cuando desearia que venga Pete Burns a mi pais Perù, seria algo grandioso, IT'S BEEN HOURS NOW es mi priferida de la primera epoca, genial como siempre Pete Burns!

Siempre genial desde Mystery Girls, Nighmares In Wax

    DEAD OR ALIVE

    Gracias Pete Burns

    Ayrton desde el Peru DoAFan

  • Who played bass on these early records, mind blowing. To Forz, I have Whirlpool, it's an amazing song

  • According to the credits, Sue James played bass for this EP and Number Eleven EP, you can see her in Flowers TV performance. On Nightmares Birth of Nation EP, it was credited for Peter Lloyd, but he had left the band just before the recording... Probably it was Ambrose Reynolds from Pink Industry who was credited as "Special Thanks" on that EP. On Whirlpool, the bassist was Mike Percy, who co-wrote Spin Me.

  • faaark... I hadn't heard this since being a young punk in my bedroom in Manchester. I'm now 43 & Pete's close to 50... Still awesome

  • I'm searching an early Dead Or Alive song...called WHIRPOOL.

    Anything about it?

  • wow tnx

  • THANKYOU! X
