i would say trophies are better because when u get all the trophies in a game, u get a platinum trophy which says you beat all the other trophies. On xbox, all you have is 1,000 gamer score. Also, we get levels and trophy count, where as all you get is a set of numbers in xbox.

it records video in 1080i. You can plug your TV reciever into it, and set recordings like a Tivo. It records straight to your PC with no limit. It does component video, as well as optical 5.1 audio.

well, tivo is nicer because you can fast forward, rewind, and pause live TV. But you have to pay monthly for Tivo. This lets you record Video and put them on your computer, while Tivo does not. So if you are planning on recording TV, and watching it on your TV, then tivo is the way to go. If you want to put HD videos on your computer, then i would go with this
