Hi odfighter, I think you're mistaken. The violence & oppression is the other way around & is almost exclusively Israeli violence commited against Palestinian civilians. If Israelis want peace & security & understanding with their non-Jewish neighbours then Israel would maintain the ceasefires & open the borders.
