I don't understand how people are still getting this mixed up.. even after all these years!? Sam Beam and all his gloriousness.. in fact DID NOT write this song :) It was Ben Gibbard and all his gloriousness with the Postal Service :) They are both amazing musicians! But Ben wrote it first, and Sam covered it.. and I'm very glad Sam Beam did cover it.. because I like his cover more than the original :)

Half of each line sounds like the original, the other half modified. The original part and modified part don't go well together. Every line ends up sounding off key. Good effort, but it doesn't work.
