  • I couldn't understand why ABC didn't do the reunion movie. The shows aired on there, but NBC came through.

  • Comment removed

  • Turn on the closed captioning ... much funny....

  • Somehow i'm going to get the DVD set, if i have to buy it one disc at a time.

  • I was born in 82 and my older brother recorded it back when it came out. I loved that opening. Such a happy tune to a 5 year old kid. Always jumping off the couch like I was Steve Austin jumping off a builing. I still have the VHS tape lying somewhere. And the tv commercials were just as awesome. The glory days of the 80's

  • I like the theme music kind of get u hype

  • Is it just me or did 1:56 sound like the video game Robotron? LOL!

  • I think NBC did a much better job of the reunion movies than CBS did with Bionic Ever After. I always wondered why CBS didn't do an opening like the NBC versions did

  • @mark40511 My guess would be that NBC probably had more money being they did there's in the 80's. By the time it went to CBS the landscape started to change. Most tv shows and tv movies had shortened intro's and end credits were moved to one side in small to save money. Pretty much it was all about the dollars.

  • Taking a trip down memory lane. Ahh, thank you very much. This seemed to be a great era in television. Drama, action, intrigue, mystery...it was all here. As was said, today's television seems pale in comparison to 20 some-odd years ago, eh? For those that remember it, anyway. :)

  • Great memories, too bad they don't make television like this anymore.

  • SMDM.com..Time-Life has remastered all the episodes...

  • The theme music was great.

  • IMO the cross over films are ok but the shows are better. I cannot wait to get my box set of 6M$M in a few weeks!

  • I remember a few years ago Lindsay wagnar was doing commericals for a car dealership in my hometown. She still looks great!

  • Wow, bionic man, bionic woman, bionic movie...that was entertainment. What do you have on television nowadays? Reality TV, stupid contest shows, infomercials -- and drama shows all about dead bodies and studying corpses to find out who killed them. Bleach!

  • btw.. LOVE TEH NBC opening trailer... for sure.. BRING BACK SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY NIGHT at the movies BACK....

  • AWESOME.... Big time memories.. I always loved the intro to the 6 million dollar man. Looking back now I realize just how chessey some of the SFX were but I don't even care. Lots of inconsistencies between shots but I loved it then and I still love em now!

  • Damn, brings back memories.

  • What was the name of the reunion theme they used? That was so great. I remember it too, wish I knew what a VCR was to tape it. Man, that was the best reunion movie, makes me wish it stayed on. oh thank heavens for our fan fiction world to bring in steve and Jaime, even in 2009 had a place for the bionic agents to help some old friends deal with a diabolical fiend in my story with a huge all star fight I'm still working out!

  • You can tell this was made in the '80s - "Jim Castillian??!"

    C'mon!!!!!!

  • @mwhite36 Well what would you expect, he is Lee Majors son, and he seems like a cocky prick!

  • That height Steve jumped at 1:37 seems to be higher then Jamie's apartment in the first Fembot episode. he didn't seem to have trouble jumping that high. yet jumping down from Jamie's apartment was to far for her to land safely and she was injuryed.

  • Oscar goldman here Star date 2010.5mark7 We need them back Rudy. Call Steve and Jamie back this message is urgent. btw good credits and it was a good show.

  • Sandra Bullock's debut!!

  • @diego9774 nope...that was the next one...Bionic Showdown...in '89

  • Best reunion movie ever made.

  • Cool intro, but I still think of the tv movies, Bionic Showdown had the best theme song. Just personal opinion though.

  • still got this recorded, mayed 3 copies just in case the tape broke on the VCR now got it on DVD

  • They should have included Bigfoot.

  • @jksonny Right!!

I remember that episode from the "Six Million Dollar Man".

Kinda freaked me out as a youngin'.

  • @jksonny Well, Ted Cassidy was dead. Andre the Giant's health was deteriorating, and he died a few years later. Bigfoot's inclusion was more than likely impossible at that point.

  • i remember seeing someone on ebay putting all bionic man and woman series on dvd.....home made of course, complete with options and all. I think he was selling them for around $140. for complete seasons for both bionic man and woman. this was a couple of years ago, but hey, you never know

  • 80's ruled

  • I love the reunion films have all 3 but the music in the intros are abysmal there so far removed from the originals the visual aspect is great but they should have used the original music, sounds ok rant over

  • OH, and that guy MICHAEL. HE WAS A HORRIBLE ACTOR!

  • It's a good job the graphics in the original shows' opening credits weren't this crap! (1.27?!)

  • The first reunion. 2nd movie was alright but not that great. Ever After was a good close to the story.

  • I personally love them all if i had to pick I would say :

    Bionic ever after

The Return of the Six Million Dollar Man & Bionic Woman

    Bionic Showdown

Great acting from both leads Lindsay and Lee

Some fans have said there not great films i beg to differ its great seeing them

Stronger Faster ....Better amazing show .

  • Still the best show 30 + years on Lindsay and lee are the best love the show x

  • As a child, I was somewhat creeped out by cheesy '80s computer graphics that illustrated their bionic functions.

  • When are they going to get the rights to put this series on DVD as well as 6 Million Dollar Man!! Screw the rights to these shows cuz of the stupid Psyborg books that WHATEVERBLEH, "inspired" the 6DM and BW?? This is crazy! Thats like don't release Wonder Woman cuz of Superman or Kramer cuz of Cheers or dont release Apple cuz of IBM..YUCK!! I see all these insignificant shows put on DVD that were not even hit series, while we wait to see super series like these released..GIVE ME A BIONIC BREAK!!

  • In Stereo Where Available!

  • This clip is golden, thanks for posting. I still remember how freaked out I was when Steve Austin has to take on Sasquatch LOL

  • i was pretty freaked also when the six million dollar man took on bigfoot. brings back great memories

  • I remember the very 1st episode of the Six Million Dollar Man,after watching it i was hooked,i had the who 1st episode on VHS,very good quality, but unfortunately my apartment caught on fire late lsat year and i lost it. :-(

  • Six million dollars, but add in inflation :(

  • The big reason you never see the bionic movies or shows here in the US is...Dimension Films owns the underlying book rights and Lee Majors is suing for the royalties..Although you can get the series in Europe..

  • Not anymore. Ceased and desist after season 2 of SIx Million(3 seasons left) and season 2 of Bionic Woman(1 season remaining to be released). Also, the European DVD's are in crappy PAL format...sped up/time accelerataed distorted sound. Yuck!

  • The 1st time I saw this movie was on the Lifetime channel during the early 90's. Still one of my favorite tv movies because it introduce Steve's son from another relationship and he became a 2nd generation of bionic people.

  • SWEEEEET!!!! I taped this back in 1987 and accidentally erased the tape! I have a 1997 Family Channel airing, but this original 1987 NBC opening trailer is ELECRA-SUPER!!!

  • Ah nostalgia.... :-) I love the whole bionic series. Have since I was a boy during the 70's and 80's. And I so remember seeing this movie too. I didn't have a VCR at the time, so I audio taped it, lol. Unfortunately, I was only able to get half of the movie before running out of tape. I used to listen to it almost every morning while getting ready for school. :-)

  • ahh this is so making me happy i have this still on vid after the brady;s tv movies does anyone know if the bionic tv movies be relised soon

  • I love the original shows, but the '87 opening graphics show a bionic right eye for Steve. His LEFT eye was bionic. and they show a CG left arm for Jaime. Any fan of the show knows her right arm is the only bionic one. Just a little "glitch" I didn't like about this opening montage.

  • Lindsay's haircut is hardcore 80's...Sheila E and that one chick from Prince's Band (The Revolution) had it too...

  • Good old days, where everything was original.

  • I remember when this was on. I recorded in using a Quasar top-load VCR. Don't have the tape anymore. There was another movie on at the same time on ABC (I think) called "Roses Are For The Rich". These three bionic movies were pretty average, but it was always a thrill to see Lee and Lindsay again. Truth be told, I would have tuned in to see three more movies if they had done them. Even so, I'm glad to have seen the three that were made.

  • I love the opening to the reunion movie. Still gives me chills.

  • I remember waiting for what seemed like forever to see that reunion movie! I didn't move when it finally aired. LOL

  • hey, its The Fall Guy and that chick from the Select Comfort commercials !!!

  • Does any one have the movie and can post it. I would so love to see it again.

  • Does any one have the whole movie? I would love to see it one more time.

  • NBC's 2 tv movies had an opening sequence but the CBS movie didn't. I've always wondered why!

  • or you could just download them then buy them fucking idiots

  • The first reunion movie as was the second was two of the highest rated movies NBC had had in years and were both proposed as pilots for new bionic series suggested by Richard Anderson (Oscar Goldman) but were never picked up. Sandra Bullock before she was popular would've bee the new BW...

  • I remember watching both of them - I always wondered why they cast Lee Majors Jr as Jim Castillian instead of as Steve's son. Oh, well.

I will say this - Sandra Bullock kicked some serious tail as her character Kate. It was almost a prep for her Miss Congeniality role. I would have loved to see her as the new bionic woman circa 1990,

  • Between Fawcett, Wagner and the Hollywood year-round snowfall Lee Majors must have had a Bionic nose and dick!

  • I have all 3 reunion movies on dvd if anyones interested in purchasing...contact me

  • Me too and no way would i sell their great. Keep them!

  • Ditto and ditto.

  • I am interested- How do I contact you?

  • Tt was a great idea to do a late 80's movie

  • I really like this theme music...it was new and different at the time and even now it's good. When I see the flashback footage from the original series, I feel such a strong flood of memories from those WONDERFUL years and times. :-)

  • Yes they did a great job with the intro on this one using flashback footage...brought back alot of good memories. Why can't we have good tv like this again?

  • As far as the memories me too. I still prefer the 6 million dollar man main theme

  • The theme for this movie was done by Marvin Hamlisch. The best part for me was when Jaime races Steve's son across the park with the split screen. It was a touching "pass the baton" moment beautifully complemented by the score.

I don't know who did the theme music for the Sandra Bullock movie, but it sucked.

  • you know he was tearing that bionic ass up..jamie summers was hot

  • wow....May 17, 1987, where DID the time go?!

  • Oscar Goldman and Steve Austin in URGENT need of a new Toupee and burn that extra pounds.

  • I'm in the process of getting all 3 movies.

  • how can i get the movies and the series for both>

  • NBC 1984-87 Movie Intro

  • Amazing !!

  • Do you have the whole movie?
