of course mass-society through main stream thought control is owned and directed for the self interest of the few individuals who master the idea. despite the thrust of natural progression, this is the driving idea justifying capitalism. its unnautral reprocussions can be seen around the globe today. just because the world turned out the way it did does not mean that this is the only possiblity that could have happened and that something is justified merely by the fact that it happened.

Language, religion, or other cultural affinities do not establish nor create hegemony of a people.

Geography has more influence on hegemony than any other factor.

Cultural values which are protected by governance does not mandate a single or state religion. In fact, the effect of secular governance is the protections for all cultures founded upon individual protections of human rights and civil protections for individual freedoms and responsibilites.
