I noticed when the baby is gesturing towards a certain object, she makes the same group of sounds over and over. Either she's so bright, she's already picking out those patterns in language and mimicking them, or she speaks her own REAL language. Most likely the first one. Beautiful baby, by the way! :)

our children are bilingual too...at the beginning they sounded much the same & then suddenly at around 2 they were speaking German & English perfectly...its fun to hear them turn to my man & speak Deutsch w/ him & then turn 2 me & repeat in English...

Great job, Mom ! You allowed her to speak, listen to herself, be reinforced by the sounds, enjoy the process and didn't interrupt which is what some parents do a little too often sometimes when they have a child of this age who wants to verbalize.  You were an attentive listener. Obviously you modeled your language(s) for her enough for her to want to try to use the sounds and inflections she heard. It's wonderful that she just naturally was allowed to acquire two languages! Speech Therapist

She has 2 languages to learn for your information. She isnt too old to be speaking her own langage at all. She is now 2 half and can speak both Greek and English VERY well.
