Why do they keep calling them "spies"? They were never labeled as spies or charged with acts of espionage. They were charged with failing to register as foreign agents. The so called intelligence they gathered was available to the public and anyone that knew how to use an internet search engine. In the past, Israeli spies have actually being arrested and charged with espionage but we don't hear anything about that.
This whole spy thing sounds so fishy and cooked up as a non-issue by the USA.
