I like it. It's the only one I've ever played extensively...so I can't compare it to anything, really. The one thing I've noticed is that it's really light compared to the other banjos I've held...with can be good and bad.
play that pattern once for the Am and then once for D7. I'm not 100% sure it's the way Scott plays it, but it sounds right to me, or close enough. He varies it anyway, so there probably isn't a "right" way to play it...good luck!
is that a deering goodtime 2 you are playing?

@dancechick333x2
the way I figure it, it goes like this.
4 2 3 1 3 2, 4 1 3 2 4 1
play that pattern once for the Am and then once for D7. I'm not 100% sure it's the way Scott plays it, but it sounds right to me, or close enough. He varies it anyway, so there probably isn't a "right" way to play it...good luck!

could u tab out that little segue part that starts at 9 seconds before u play the Am chord position

@1mshores
I've never written tabs out....it's pretty easy though...
on the second string (from the bottom) it's: open, 1st fret, 3rd fret, 1st fret, open, first string open...
does that make sense? (I guess I should learn to write tabs...)
