  • I am soooo impressed. I lost my leg 8 years ago and haven't tried to run yet. Think I'm a little afraid. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • I'm an above knee amputee who wants to start running, can I ask which knee/foot you use please?

  • i am not currently using a running leg. however i plan on getting one sometime this year maybe. right now i just have the ceterus by ossur

  • hi i am a ak runner to, i am on a ossur flex foot with an otto bock knee, i ran 13.07 on the weekend so it is working ok

  • I have an Otto Bock 3R60 knee, my other leg which I wear most often is an Othoeurope Ultimate knee with an otto bock carbon foot. I think the hardest thing for me is having the confidence to break into a run! Do you set it to swing fast?

  • i use a 3r55 on my running leg. well have a look at my video of me running i prove that fallingover is a part of it but it is only a little bit of pain, well when u are first learning have it set to a slow speed to get ur conidence up then as u feel better and more cofident on it sloly make it faster, the best way to set it up it to try am mimic ur actual leg movement

  • Great advice, thank you. I'm going to give it a try, thanks for showing its possible.

  • You have the right attitude.Good luck with your future from "Down Under"

  • hope tht helps

  • I'm getting an above knee amputation next week... while I'm scared as hell this vid gives me some hope

  • yeah .. well i mean dont be too scared it is tough at first but you got to have confidence and HAVE TO MOVE ON WITH LIFE!!! its like losing a loved oned you can never have them back so you can either be depressed or move on with life and try to be as normal as possible

  • How did the amputation go. You will be fine if you can get a leg like this. I would much rather lose my lower leg then an arm any day of the week!

If I lost an arm or even a hand that would put me in depression! Although I saw a guy with no arms on TV who uses his feet to even play pool.

  • That is fantastic to see. Have a great summer

  • thanks you too!
