Like in any car, the top gear in a 2-speed car is the freeway gear. Typically, powerglide cars can top out at around 80 mph in the low gear.

Yeah, the first thing you want to check is the (Trim package, Motor, and Vin#) Oh, what I would do for a car like this one....she is so FREAKIN GORGEOUS! As you can tell I am the 1964-SS #1 fan! LOV'IN ALL OF IT!

@Akshen187 Maybe there was some body work to cover up the second antenna on the driver side, but there should be two antennas in the back. I could be wrong, but I'm confident I'm correct. I have a '64 hard-top just like that one, but not as nice.

@trafficjam1977 Thank you for your comments I always appreciate 64 fans and owner , The second antenna(in-op) was an option. Like a passenger mirror, fender skirts, hazard lights, truck release, etc. These things don't determine an SS.( Trim package, Motor, and VIN 414) are determining factors for a super sport.

Beautiful car!! normally I go more for the sports cars, but the looks of a nice clean classic cant be beat. I'd clear out a sports car to make room for that in a heart beat. and as every body else has said it makes me happy to see one properly taken care of and not turned into some hydrulic abomination. keep up the good work.
