i was in the penitentiary when this song came out, and on new years eve they left the radios on late, and when this song came on it almost caused a riot, cuz whenever they said "knock 3 times", everyone slammed their doors three times...the screws got scary and shut off the radio. the chaos went on for hours afterwards. they were standing by with the goon squad now known as SWAT, and ordered us to stand down or else...we eventually went to bed, but everytime i hear this tune i remember

Y'know, Tony Orlando was bald as a coot and this is a very thick rug he's wearing on his head. Look at those sideburns - those were stuck on with tape. And another thing, he had the worse teeth ever and he had to have the front ones removed - those are false-teeth in this video. Tell you something-else.. Tony was actually born; Gabriella Maria Orlandis - he got 'the operation' while still a teenager. Today Tony (Gabby to her friends) lives in sheltered accommodation with her cat 'Dawn'.
