  • both need lockers or limited slip diffs, then they could do this stuff with alot less gas and alot more control

  • thats all driver... and its easy driving

  • same tires same driver any year stock pathfinder.stock jeep may not out run PF BUT Jeep will ALWAYS OUTPERFORM OFFROAD

  • Nice highway tires on the off road sceen.

  • porque no te callas pendejo te oyes bien maricon

  • road race then we shall see who wins..

  • @gutarjunky why would you have a road race with offroad vehicles?

  • @cccpNik Same reason you would off Road with non sense tires or own a truck with car/passenger tires :)

  • needs better tires

  • Pathy's got a longer wheelbase and weighs about 1,000 lbs more. In other words, Pathfinders are fine for fire roads. Get a XJ and start taking the bypasses...

  • FALTO EL PURO BLOQUEO!

  • wreck the two of them, teh pathfinder driver will live. I've rolled a cherokee, things aren't fun to have upside down.

  • I had a first generation 1988 pathfinder (prior to 1995) and a 1988 Cherokee Laredo... at the same time.... Pathfinder looked way better and was so much a nicer ride on road, but offroad, and although it was a capable machine offroad, it wouldnt go no where near places the jeep would go... The Cherokees Selec-trac 4x4 system beat pathfinders every time off road...

  • @Valkyrie761 That's because the older pathfinders were weak and had a tiny ass engine. Get a 3.5l DOHC or a 3.3l SOHC Supercharged, the 4.0l and the v8 jeep will poop itself in comparison.

  • Comment for person below: then how come the jeep had to tow the Nissan out and you would probably die in either of the two if they rolled over (if your talking about higher)

  • If the jeep rolled the driver would die. If the pathy rolled the driver would live. The pathy in the vid was heavier than the jeep and suited for street driving. the jeep itsnt. i will put my stock 95 pathy up against that Cherokee and kill it. Case Closed.

  • @GuyaneseBlood13 Looked like the Luxury Edition pathfinder too, not the Sports Edition, the sports have nearly 2" on tire diameter and lift.

  • Jeeps are better off road vehicles than anything Nissan makes. Nissans are great, but they should stick to fast and comfortable road going cars. That's what they're good at. Leave the heavy, muddy stuff to Jeep. By the way, that Jeep didn't have any better tires than the Pathfinder. They were both sporting road tires and the Jeep won. Just accept it, Jeep is a better off road vehicle. Always has been, Always will be. Jeep 4 Life.

  • Im a Jeep Cherokee guy myself, but the tires is what can be the deciding factor in any situation. An Accord with MT's will get through mud better than a Jeep with bald tires

  • @Peace454P That's not true. The Accord would bottom out as soon as it got to the mud, rendering the tires useless to their cause. A Jeep with bald tires can still make it through some shit, I've seen it, I've done it. Jeep 4 Life.

  • ,the path finder wins. the jeep only gets up faster due to its weight and its pretty small. the pathfinder is saver, strong and the roof is harder and stronger. imo the nissan wins. jeep roofs are very very very WEAK!

  • @TheRunescapernerd yeah your right... the jeep only gets up faster because its built for off road use unlike the yuppie hunk of crap that was going against it, jeep all the way

  • @letsgetjeepy ok, its your opinion...i wont say anynthing bad lol

  • put normal tyres on the nissan and it will kick all jeeps asses

  • incheeeeeeeeeee pathfinder de mierda jajaja.. ITS A JEEP THING.. I OWN A JEEP CHEROKEE.. AND HAVE NEVER GOTTEN STUCK..

  • Yajuuuuua!!!

  • jajajajajajaa EL SABEDOR DE NEUMATICOS..JAJAJAJAJAJA 100 % GRAND CHEROKEE Y PUNTO

  • stupid beaners don't know how to drive and u need new tires dumb ass

  • @corvetteboy10 You fuckin piece of shit , Wtf is wrong with you? there´s a song dedicated to people like you fucking racist. it´s name Frijolero by Molotov u can find it here Just use search button.

  • One thing to say....Tires!

  • @dawsomd1

2nd Thing to add to this, open diffs XD

  • obviously the jeep has better tyres... morons...

  • Tires make all the difference in the world. You can have as many lockers and lsd's all the lift and power you want, but you need the right tires to back them up. Both these vehicles needed better tires to do that stuff

  • a 96 pathy se with a 5 speed and 31" tires sitting below stock ride height because of blow out shocks and struts has gone up 1 km of mud and ruts made by 35s and made it further than two jeeps and a h2 with someone driving that atually knows what they'ye doing. and plus a 95 xj isnt a real jeep a real jeep is 1980 and lower

  • @hardbodyprerunner and also the cherokee has a shorter wheelbase

  • please, tires for th nissan and sme locker diff for both

  • pathfinder sucks!!!

only in a jeep!!! jeep rules

  • All the pathfinder needs is good tires, m/t

  • I think also xj has a bigger engine that da pathfinder you can see how the path overdrive de engine and da cherokee did´nt needs about it

  • The Pathfinder needs good tires and a smarter driver. 4 wheel low would'nt hurt either,, but this guy just can't drive off- road to save his life.

  • i have a 98 pathfinder 3.3 se in which i crossed a small water stream with pure fun :))

  • good trucks but without front lockers they aint much

  • pathloser

  • jeeps the best!! dats niss. is over price and to heavy! it's funny they left the strap on the O' path just in case it was stuck again and again!!! HA HA!!!! funny

  • @nvboy2000 im not even a jeep fan and i agree with you i would rather have a jeep than a nissan

  • although i think the pathfinder would lose anyway, i dont think it would have lost that badly if there was a guy in the drivers seat who knew what he was doing

  • While the Jeep obviously won this, it looks like the guy in the Nissan doesn't know how to drive off-road.

  • i lov pathfinders my 91 is such a good car 275,000 miles and runs fine

  • The 4x4 Pathfinder years 95 and lower were the best kind of pathfinders to have when off-roading

  • I disagree. From 97 to 01 were the best years. They have a unibody and a five link rear end. We've stomped so many american trucks, and toyotas in our 98. ^.^

  • 10 4..I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder with 31" Firestone Destanation A/T and that thing will fit in places were full size trucks wont ever go...The short wheel base make them awsome mud trucks

  • @lilshane93 and 1996!! i have one and i can take it any where

  • @lilshane93 Cherokee 84-2001 are better when offroading ;)

  • @lilshane93 The bodies and the suspension were good, the engine, the 3.0l was WAY underpowered. Then again, even the 3.3l engine was underpowered, it wasn't until they introduced that 3.5L DOHC that they started having the right power ratio.

  • cherokee ftw

  • hindi pordele

  • pathfinders fine but built different. Jeeps seem to offroad better lighter weight for one thing. You can get second chances with the jeeps, nissans you get one shot at it fail, stuck.

  • If you had someone who knew how to drive the pathy, it would never get stuck. You wouldnt believe how many times we tried to get ours stuck, and she just wouldnt have it. Their just built better, thats all...

  • Grande Cherokee!!!

  • my 3.5 pathy and some tires would make it up that hill no problem

  • its just the tires and the 4WD system, the system really sucks on this and the 3.5. They did a good job with the 4.0 Pathy though.

  • Thats because its not a real lsd...its a vicous lsd or open diff.

  • i agree

  • @dukviper90 ya because its 168hp but he 3.5 its 240 hp i use to have a 1997 but now i have 2003

  • @badboy87900 I miss mine.

  • Viva Cherokee !
