und das findet so ziemlich jeder, den ich gefragt hab, egal ob aus Köln oder nicht

die einzigen, die NIE richtig karneval feiern werden, sind die Düsseldorfer, weil die einfach nix drauf haben

But this song is not really on german. It is a special kind of german, that is spoken in Cologne.

Jommer noh Hus oder solle mer blieve(Gehen wir nach Hause, oder sollen wir bleiben). This is the dialect spoken in Cologne and surrounding area. The various dialects spoken in Germany can be confounding. I met relatives in 2005 and 2006, who live southeast of Cologne in the direction of Frankfurt. Their dialect is similar to the Cologne dialect. An example:(Dau firscht, mer bleiwe hae). "Du faehrst, wir bleiben hier".
