IGreat Work Guys! This is actually really qitty and humorous .... two thumbs up!
'm about the third person to say this but.... i'm 15 (as well) and I wanna go to musical theatre @ WAAPA! I can sing and act OK but i haven't had dancing lessons since i was nine! I saw the grads put on 42nd street the other night - WOW!!!!! If i (somehow out of sheer dumb luck) get in i wuld be so stoked!!!!
it was SOOO great - i went into their open rehearsal at the WAAPA Open Day and their doing this show called parade and i was like OMG!!!! R u thinking about attending the Audition Masterclass?
i saw them rehearse parade too! i cannot wait to see it :) yeah, i was thinking about it actually, it sounds really interesting, i wouldn't want to volunteer to sing though :\ lol
I am 15 and looking forward to auditioning at WAAPA when I'm a bit older. My singing and acting is undercontrol and whilst I have a talent for dancing I haven't had more than a years worth of dance training. Can someone tell me how good a dancer you have to get into WAAPA and some advice about what type of dancing I should be doing and how often. Thanks!
Im going for WAAPA this year in classical performance, even though its got nothing to do with Musical Theatre I still know a bit.. the open days tell you alot lol...
Dancing that they're looking for is very general and they like you to have experience in most popular areas I.e. Jazz, Ballroom, a bit of Ballet and even some gymnastics... might I suggets that you also learn a bit of musical theory and take TEE drama as well
could you please help me? How good do you have to be for the singing part? I've done Jazz dance all my life and Im doing TEE drama...im just worried about the singing part
