I"m not sure why I thought about Katrina today but I'm glad I did. This is a powerful video and needs to be shown to everyone. Our country was such an embarrassment during this. This has to be one of the most shameful things that our country allowed to happen. NO excuse.
@axelsoncarla WHAT! Where were you in 2005? Looters shot at rescue workers. Looters broke in to "everywhere". More money was flushed in to New Orleans that it can actually be called NEW now. What are you talking about, I pity YOU for being ignorant and if you were in America in 2005 I pity you for being STUPID! There were busses available to take people to safety, but sitting through so many uneventful Hurricanes in the past a lot of people just stayed. the levies harmed that city NOT the storm.
this is a powerful video, no one should ever forget how the Bush administration failed in the most horrible way, and today, there are still many who have not overcome their losses, both personal, family and property. We must keep this going to insure that this will never happen again. God Bless. I will share my video with you and hopefully you will share it with others, as I will share yours.
@grammygold2011 Wanna see REAL failure done by an Administration? Look at the middle of this Country just this year alone and at the flooding that's been ignored. No FEMA trailers, no FREE Debit cards , just forgotten people and devastation that makes katrina look like a rain shower! Obama isn't interested in helping his own Countrymen, he helped Haiti instead. It just didn't make life interesting enough inside the beltway for him to waste his time saving lives when he was raising campaign money
An American calamity that was deeply exploited by the right-wing Friedmanites that monopolise America's economy. Instead of the Bush Administration spending money to rebuild the old school system in New Orleans, they spent an entourage of wealth devising Charter schools, publicly funded institutions run by private entities whilst disseminating the Unions. They exploited a tragedy for their own private corporate gain. Capitalism is the parasitic plague devouring the planet.
I hate the way america acted towards this. America is a great country but think about, when 9/11 happend everyone was there for new york but when this happend new orleans stood alone and none should go through that.
@pengting1011 It's because American conglomerates, the huge ones that monopolise America profiteered off of Hurricane Katrina, just like they profit off of every calamity. Utilizing the hysteria and discombobulation caused by the disaster to radically transform economies or impose extreme right-wing privatisation reforms. It's known as the 'shock therapy', and it was conceptualised by Friedmanites and tested in Chile in the 70's. 9/11= False Flag Even, an inside job.
@osuvideo1 I have NEVER been embarrassed to be an American. America is the best Country with the best [Form] of Government (present group in office excluded) on Planet Earth. I have only ever been ashamed of our Governing body, but never AS an American. Of that I am truly fortunate and PROUD!
This video should be showed to all students every school in the United States of America and Canada!! It gives us a glimpse of the pain and suffering caused both by the emmense destructive power of Katrina and also the complete failure of one of the world's richest and most powerful countries to respond to the desperate needs of her victims in New Orleans. Thank you for preparing and uploading this.
I remember this. And will forever, I am from New Orleans. I'm glad we have gotten much in the last 6 years. But it seems like just yesterday. Thank you for the all the helpful people. :)
@ibxncgc In a urban areas, like New Orleans, many many people use public transportation and don't have the means to evacuate. Further, the mandatory evacuation was issued without offer of transportation opportunities for those without the means to leave. Finally, prior to Hurricane Katrina, folks trusted that our United States government built the levees strong enough to withstand the water that would fill the canals.
I volunteered at the red cross shelter in Shreveport when this happened. I felt so horrible for them. People don't realize, they didn't just lose their home, they lost their entire CITY. Most people if you lose your home, you have a family or friends across town to help you out, can get on your feet with your job and be good. These people, that wasn't an option. It's hard to even FATHOM losing not just your house, but your entire community... your entire city....
@twogreatkids4us Anybody remember these people were left without food and water for 6 god damn days and that most of the looting was a by product of needing supplies to fucking survive and those were the smart people apparently because the people who didn't act in your words savage and waited on the government got nothing. Elderly people left without proper medical care, children suffering, people dying of dehydration and starvation I mean are you fucking kidding me this is supposed to be the
@TheHighflya9290 Nope, don't remember anything like that. I do remember all the FREE stuff that we sent to those poor fools who tried to ride out a cat 5 hurricane even when they had 3 full days notice. Idiots. imagine actually believing that charity is something they are OWED!
@4QBUD it's terrible that you call them idiots. most of the people have stayed didn't have a way out. Also, katrina wasn't a catagory 5 hurricane when it hit land, it was a catagory 3. people have stayed for catagory 3 hurricanes before which did little destruction. many stayed simply because they didn't expect the storm to do what it did
@swampmonster123 Well, I surely wish that they were NOT idiots, but that doesn't change the facts as we know them. Surely the storm was a Cat 5 when the warnings went out. Though it was "merely" a Cat 3 when it actually landed is truly beside the point! People stayed because they thought "Nothing will EVER happen to me. It never has before"! That is why they stayed. It was a stupid thing to think and then do. The storm really did little damage to the cesspool called New Orleans. THE LEVEE BROKE!
@swampmonster123 So you are actually stating a true fact at it's face value. So what though. The cesspool of New Orleans, a place Law Enforcement officials absolutely refused to patrol without accompaniment and this prior to that storm was vulnerable because the embankments surrounding it and supposedly keeping it from beset by flood waters at it's then negative 50 ft below sea level FAILED. The people were right about the storm, but wrong about their do nothing local government who kept the $.
@4QBUD It had little or nothing to do with the Bush administration no matter how hard a lot of people (wolves) blow. The facts are the facts. There is no Loch Ness Monster, Yeti Big Foot or Alien produced Crop Circles and George Bush wasn't responsible for a Hurricane or it's having washed the streets of New Orleans and certainly not for the initial rescue efforts, which were solely the responsibility of the State Governor and it's National Guard if she said so. She was in charge of FEMA there.
@4QBUD The "MANDATORY" evacuation called on August 28 made ZERO provisions to evacuate anyone, Homeless, Poor, infirmed or otherwise STUPID (Idiots I say). Still Mayor 'Ray-Ray' Nagin (Forest Gump) REFUSED to let the people use the Parish School Busses. Wanna know what Bush did? $10.5 Billion to save and then rebuild let alone MY contributions of clothing and cash and then friggiin ingrates of that "stinking" burg call Bush a Monster, for saving their ignorant asses.
@4QBUD I realize this is a LOAD to read, but a LOAD happen in August of 2005 and it takes MANY words to show some people what the truth is in spite of Crazy Louies (Farrakhan) assertions that "Frog Men" blew up the Levees. (Funny how that nitwit is in my spellchecker, but Prestidigitation isn't!) Anyways, it is what it is. Scream air shout about it and it won't change it. This now ENDS another "True Moment in American History" till the Democrats re-write it in 2025.
@4QBUD You say the city is 50 feet below sea level, but you are wrong again. The lowest areas of New Orleans are no more than 8 feet below sea level. Another thing: I said NOTHING about government. You say the storm did little damage to the "cesspool" (as idiots [you] call it), but in reality, the storm caused an estimated $81 BILLION in damage, much of which was in New Orleans.
@twogreatkids4us United States of America where we take care of our own people yet we did a better job helping then southern Asia during the tsunami than we did our own fucking people and it's because are Government was to busy with there heads stuck up there asses worrying about there own agenda than there own people. You know whats savage pal savage is blowing up the ninth ward levee and committing genocide on a whole neighborhood of people so they could save the richer areas of New Orleans
@grandmachristine42 You mean by Mayor Nagle and the same local Government that parked all those busses and wouldn't take anyone past the stadium when they were told to evacuate the city? Yeah, I remember. what about it. Wasn't it nice when it finally got through though and what about those trailers and those FREE debit cards and FREE Hotels even if you were only a renter! Man, I mean could anyone have imagined all that FREE stuff? I am glad I don't live in Kansas! THOSE people got the real shaft
have a negative opinion towards someone for being selfish when you can say you never been selfish yourself, people stayed because they were guarding their homes some where generations of family lived in etc. now being you can pre judge people for being selfish maybe you can tell me why in the united states of america people were left to rot, 6 years later still no legitimate explanation
cant wait till the next "bad" hurricane. bet that people still wont listen. new orleans knew it was a "big" one. shouldve done better evac. if i truly said what i feel about this video, well lets just say i wont.
negative@thekerneljames Anyone who pre-judges anyone for having a negative opinion of the people who ignored all the warnings prior to that disaster is just stupid.
Certainly EVERYONE feels bad for anyone who suffered through that misery. A lot of us though just can't get our heads around why anyone would put (gamble) themselves in that situation in the first place and ON PURPOSE too and then afterwards when the entire Country flocked to their rescue, many would lay blame on others for it all.
@4QBUD You must live in a very isolated mind. Most of these people did not have transportation. They had no means to leave. If you can't get your head around that, I think I pity you.
Watching this video is truly heartwrenching. These are the faces of the VICTIMS of Katrina and the worthless Bush Administratioin. Bush is a good actor pretending to care about these poor people when he probably ordered the damn levy blown up. You will never convince me in any way that help couldn't get there any faster than it did. It sure didn't take long to respond to 9/11 from all over the country and the devastation was far worse. I'm not discounting 9/11. It didn't have to be this way..
I thought there would be pictures of the hurricane, not its victims... Edit the title please. Oh, and for the 'don't look away' part, delete that too. -1
I am a suviver of Hurricane Andrew, seeing your video only brings tears to my eye because I know what it is to lose everything, family, friends. thank you for such a powerful video. As a veteran and hurricane andrew surviver, I would like to share my video with you and ask to please share it with your friends. I have posted a video response to your video. God Bless.
Well I have something foul to say, not about the poeple but about George Bush, who gigglingly insisted for days that nobody was hungry or without help, and about Rummy, who also denied any problems and when told to turn on any tv and look, bragged "We don't watch news, we MAKE news", and about Barbara Bush, who said Katrina was a good deal for NO natives because now someone would give them a free sandwich . If these things (continued)
@grandmachristine42 are never going to be mentioned when we tell the story, then the young ones who want to know what happened will never understand the wave of revulsion and pure hatred for the Bush administration that swept the country. Katrina was much more than a horrible natural disaster compounded by years of racist neglect; it was a CELEBRATION of the horror NO was living through by the Bushies, because they had other plan$ for New Orleans.
@grandmachristine42 Well Said! Bus has so much blood on his hands all for profit. We as Americans and citizens need to stop believing everthing we are told and start questioning things. That is now prime real estate over there in New Orleans and many people will never recoup there losses so sad. Any all you people laughing I am sorry you heartless sociopaths will never grasp compassion.
im sorry if what i posted offended anyone and sorry about this miss spelled words i suck at spelling but it doesnt mean i am a ignorent person. i believe iin god and what was done here was to show the people of new orleans that he is real. most forgot who he was but only when something like this happens they pray to him. this was a horrible thing that happened and it devistated alot of people but it also took out all the crime and murdering. and this goes for anywhere not just new orleans
once upon a time there was a man named moses that was called upon by a man named god. moses freed the people of egypt and promised them the great promise land. the people of egypt fled with moses and they trusted in him. but the ones that murdered and doubted god were punished. God brought several plauges among egypt before they were free from slavery. this is what god has done here. new orleans was the murder capitol in the world at this time. R.I.P to all the familys that lost someone...
horrible. people and many people lost their lives and most almost did. anyone who has a foul thing to say is just a heartless idiot who doesn't care about people nor the world. maybe hate themselves.
The pain in their eyes, the human suffering and the contrast of dead bodies and the military in a US city is just unfathomable. I look at the buses and try, just try to imagine being put on a bus, never to return to my home. I look at the suffering and wonder how you rebuild their souls, spirits and lives. We are the richest and most developed country in the world and even though natural disasters cannot be prevented, we can do better! The American people must assure this never happens again!!!
Never forget...I can never forget this...it still lives within me, the pain of loss and the rising cries of anger still can be heard in my mind..all those good people..such innocence lost...some can never recover...some cannot come home..New Orleans...my home...Oh how I miss you my beautiful city...
And even now some have still not recover, the bible tell us about the heart of mankind that it be harden and dark and wicked, how can you look on something like this and dislike it, 11 people without a heart, mind and soul. I dislike to see my people have to go thru this, hope that is what your dislike means.
ALL I CAN SAY IS THE VIDEO HAS TEARS ROLLING DOWN MY FACE,BECAUSE OF THE SUFFERING I SAW GOING ON,I MEAN WHITE,BLACK IT DON'T MATTER WHEN YOU SEE HUMAN BEING SUFFERING THAT WAY IT WILL BOTHER YOU,AND TO THE PERSON WHO POSTED THIS VIDEO......THANK YOU,BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO EVER FORGET.
i cried the whole time from the start and everyone should have a soul to be sorry for them because we should all think about giving back and not focusing all on yourself, but others.
You would really have to have the real guts to not feel sorry for all of those people.
i cried the whole time from the start and everyone should have a soul to be sorry for them because we should all think about giving back and not focusing all on yourself, but others.
i cried the whole time from the start and everyone should have a soul to be sorry for them because we should all think about giving back and not focusing all on yourself but others.
unbearable to watch, can't imagine being there, unforgivable that this was allowed to happen. If news reporters could get there, then aid should have. sickening to see all those children and the people that had the power to do something...didn't.
my dad stayed back in new orleans for the storm because of his job but we live on the north shore we got a tree in are house and some flooding but my dad had to go up in the helicopters and he saved about 14 people some were drowning some were stuck on the roofs he doesnt have a job as a police officer or anything close to that he was just one of the only people in New Orleans who volunteered to help save others.
i swear some of yall on hea hav da REAL down sendrom da PREZ job iz 2 HELP n PROTECT da COUNTRY & STATEZ DAT R PART OF DII COUNTRY DUMB ASS n 2 mii n eery otha nigga, hespanic, n any otha race dat waz screwd ova him agreez wit mii dat HE AINT DO SHIT N CNT N NEVA WILL DO SHIT HE AINT HELL HE DII WORSZ PREZ EVA DII END
What amazes me is everyone throws up their hands and asks the gOVERNMENT TO HELP. Never depend on the government to do anything. When this happens again maybe people will prepare alittle better.
President Bush did far to much to help. His job is too look after the whole country not just one city because of one little disaster. The finger of blame goes on those in charge of that city. Possibly the State as well.
@ninthtf 1 little disaster? if I was close to you I'll smack you in your face.have you ever lost everything? Fuck the blame, the blame is on this country.and people like you.I am from New Orleans,I am A Black Man & proud of both.Bush did not do shit, but the same thing he did to OUR COUNTRY,Fuc$% over US ALL,1 way or the other,YOU'RE FUC#ED....
Obviously you don't know what the job of a President is. You want to point fingers point fingers at the assholes you elected in your state. Its not the federal Governments job, its Local. They were on tv for days before the hurricane happened telling people to leave. I don't give a shit if your black or if a lot of black people lived there, you got 2 arms, 2 legs a hole in your face that makes noise so you should have a brain. Try using it.
@ninthtf That's assuming that the poorest of the poor have access to transit or cars, can afford hotel rooms and to feed their children and themselves while on the run. For most of these people, leaving wasn't an option. They can't afford it.
@treefingers1206 They had tons of school buses there to help evacuate them but there local government failed. Point the finger of blame at the ones they elected in there state.
Thank you for this video. I am from Australia and was lucky enough to go to New Orleans last year and see for myself how the area is still affected. Currently here in Aus we are experiencing our own natural disaster and its just heart wrenching to see the tragedy...
Everyone is entitled to there opinions but it is sad when someone is a racist becuase it says who you are and how you were raised in such misery! It is sad how human beings are being taught to hate people of anything than them. SORRY but blacks made this country what it is today at least the good side of it. God has a humble hand when it comes to fools and babies.... you arent a baby
But what goes around comes around. Tough moments will surely come, one way or another, for all the youtube scum... and when they do, perhaps no one will be there to help them. Maybe then they'll find their voice of decency.. when nobody hears it.
@mca08 Evil will always walk among us, unfortunately it finds it's way to the internet. They are heartless cause they have no soul, they're vile, evil, waste of skin. They say it cause it gives them a rise and they're ignorant
One thing is that every one on here should care like say you were in somthing that nature has given, people will care too!!!Just try to care or just dont comment at ALL!Oh and one more thing,if you said somthing mean about thing video then....why did you watch it,if you didnt like it then (DONT) comment becase ur being mean!!!
@bailie1973 - FOLKS DON'T WORRY WHEN A KATRINA OR ANDREW COMES TO THEIR TOWN WE'LL SEE WHO WILL BE SMERKING THEN!! LIKE I SAID BEFORE - GET RID OF YOUR MONEY N RICHES - THAT'S IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING - AND GO LIVE WITH THOSE WHO ARE ONLY TRYING TO LIVE - L I K E Y O U !! THE WORDS YOU EXPRESS - SOON WILL BE YOU !! BECAREFUL OF YOUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS - THEY DO CATCH UP - AND IN THESE DAYS FASTER THAN YOU THINK!! SHUT UP OR PUT UP!!
very powerful an moving video.but 4 evrybody, these are the ppl u drive past,an say,"wow, look at that lady"or da dude u walk past on the corner askin u 4 change an u wont give him a cent.these r the "crackheads"an dopefiends"an "drunks"dat you loathe.these are the people you hate for bein on welfare that u pay yur taxs for these people so they "need to get a job"these are your mothers an your fathers on your brothers an sisters.these ppl shoulda been helped along time ago.dnt pretend to care now.
@jaseo224: I hear you loud and clear. But, hopefully, people will sincerely begin to care. This video is so tragic and heartbreaking. This was an avoidable tragedy. The kids, the babies, the elderly who lived 80 or 90 years found their final resting place in a wheelchair outside the entrance of the Superdome? With a sheet draped over them? The inhumanity....beyond words.
@mariewilder i so agree.i guess my basic point was,the people in this video were in need even befor the storm.but nobody has time for them.or judges them,or is 2 busy.we as a society can volunteer give help care not practice prejudice do a selfless act with out telling everybody practice humility and actually do something.not just wait for a hurricane to type a "msg of how much we care"CARE NOW!"im just sick of the pretenders.sorry,i get a lil melodramatic, but i've had a "crazy life".
@jaseo224: Your not melodramatic at all.....your words spoken are truth. Many of the citizens of New Orleans needed help long before Hurrican Katrina demolished this historic city. I completely agree with your comments. Opportunities present themselves everyday for us to help out each other and should make a dedication now to help others by volunteering or doing what we can. I like the sincerity and compassion of your comments. Obviously, you care and that can never be "melodramatic".
@mariewilder thanks for understanding where im coming from.i just see the way the world is,an what the united states is becoming.it's scare's me.my kids kids will not be living in a fair loving caring society.im so no where near perfect.but at some point ,thinking about helping, caring on the inside, just is'nt enough.the world is changed by actions not thinking about actions.thanks for the cool convo.
muffincake-The only thing that could be done to "prepare" for a storm like that, is to pack up and get out. Especially in a city like NO where your already so many feet below sea level.
i truelly cant stop crying watching this............. i live in virgnia, and my stepdad went down with a moving truck to give water and food, and he came back and cried the second he seen us, and said he couldnt believe what all he saw, he felt so helpless, and as i watch this my heart goes out to all who delt with katrina, and to those lost, you will always be remembered. - Peace, Love, and Happiness
we need to take all this anger, loss and pain and turn it into positive energy by makeing our lives better by helping others more so this kind of disaster can be handeled with greater care and sympathy for people who have no food or place to live. we cant depend on the govt for anything. we must only depend on our selves and others that care enough to make a difference for less fortunate.
F@$K !!! It doesn't matter where you live, I still can't believe this happened in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA the government is never prepared for any disaster....My Grandfathers My Father My Uncle My Brothers didn't die for this country for the citizens of this COUNTRY to be treated like this by our government
Bravo. A powerful testament to the tragedy. New Orleans was my home for many years, and unless you have lived there and loved New Orleans, you have no idea how hard this was. Lord, have mercy on these people, and on this great and unique city. Five years....NEVER forget.
I think that people getting on here and blaming Bush is an embarrassment. George Bush had nothing to do with this. I have seen videos of him walking around after the storm, trying tohelp whoever he could. There was really nothing that could be done. I cry for those who lost their lives, I cry for those who live on without loved ones, I cry for those who worked all their lives and had everything taken from them. But I don't blame Government. Our world is changing.
This decade has sucked - 9/11 Katrina and BP all had that motherfuckers Satan hand in it. Devil your time is coming. I'm calling you out you Bitch Cocksucker.
As I watched those images the first time following the Katrina disaster and as I watch them again and are reminded of the devastation my heart is in a million pieces all over again. Natural disaster knows no color..so many people were affeted by this horrific storm, along with not being responded to in a timely mannor.. OMG! I can remember saying back then.. "Why is it taking so long to get help to the people? .."Can't they see what we was all seeing? ..I know damn well The president had a TV.
In 1953 we had this disaster too in the Netherlands. 1800 people died, 100.000 people lost their houses. Now in 2010 we have bigger and stronger dikes!
@ Nobra- I live here too,and we know ..Most people besides us that lived through this dont have a clue with what really happened.how are you doing these days 5 yrs later?im still pretty numb.but im watching these videos for the 1st time since and Its kinda tearing me up a bit inside.I stopped watching all the videos then b/c I dont think my mind could take anymore,I guess We saw enough then and for the past 5 yrs.Glad ya made it through and I hope you and yours are well fellow survivor!
@misspeaches197819761 IM AM JUST ONE OF THE MANY AFRICAN AMERICAN THAT WERE EFFECTED BY THE STORM, AND I PERSONALLY CAN TELL YOU THAT EVEN THOUGH YOU DO NOT SEE THEM ON THE FOOTAGE, THEY WERE EFFECTED JUST LIKE THE AFRICAN AMERICANS. DO NOT KNOW WHY THEY WERE NOT GIVEN ALOT OF AIR TIME. I OFTEN ASKE MY SELF THAT.
I think we need disaster like these to understand what are we doing with these Planet!Because we are not the only be on these planet!!But yes we are just thinking about our self!
i dont understand why this is a racist thing? if there was a white poor neigborhood that got drilled it would be whites... sadly this is an area of mostly blacks.. w t f does this have anything to do with race... if any its about income, if that
i just want to say ty for hyperbolicpants for posting this. I also would like to say to all the people of New Orleans you are a strong community and that I know it will take along time for people to recover but in the end it will be worth it. My prayers are with u every nite and god bless
lived that life back 1992 but i know what they feel and if see pics of people cover there faces it's smell rotting of dead bodyies. But andrew as like that on 5 or 6 day where trailers destory like tornado ally.theses people are scar for rest there. look what happen nashville tn last week.
I"m not sure why I thought about Katrina today but I'm glad I did. This is a powerful video and needs to be shown to everyone. Our country was such an embarrassment during this. This has to be one of the most shameful things that our country allowed to happen. NO excuse.

Elderly people left without proper medical care, children suffering, people dying of dehydration and starvation I mean are you fucking kidding me this is supposed to be the
TheHighflya9290 4 months ago 2
@TheHighflya9290 Nope, don't remember anything like that. I do remember all the FREE stuff that we sent to those poor fools who tried to ride out a cat 5 hurricane even when they had 3 full days notice. Idiots. imagine actually believing that charity is something they are OWED!
4QBUD 2 weeks ago
@4QBUD it's terrible that you call them idiots. most of the people have stayed didn't have a way out. Also, katrina wasn't a catagory 5 hurricane when it hit land, it was a catagory 3. people have stayed for catagory 3 hurricanes before which did little destruction. many stayed simply because they didn't expect the storm to do what it did
swampmonster123 2 weeks ago
@swampmonster123 Well, I surely wish that they were NOT idiots, but that doesn't change the facts as we know them. Surely the storm was a Cat 5 when the warnings went out. Though it was "merely" a Cat 3 when it actually landed is truly beside the point! People stayed because they thought "Nothing will EVER happen to me. It never has before"! That is why they stayed. It was a stupid thing to think and then do. The storm really did little damage to the cesspool called New Orleans. THE LEVEE BROKE!
4QBUD 2 weeks ago
@swampmonster123 So you are actually stating a true fact at it's face value. So what though. The cesspool of New Orleans, a place Law Enforcement officials absolutely refused to patrol without accompaniment and this prior to that storm was vulnerable because the embankments surrounding it and supposedly keeping it from beset by flood waters at it's then negative 50 ft below sea level FAILED. The people were right about the storm, but wrong about their do nothing local government who kept the $.
4QBUD 2 weeks ago
@4QBUD It had little or nothing to do with the Bush administration no matter how hard a lot of people (wolves) blow. The facts are the facts. There is no Loch Ness Monster, Yeti Big Foot or Alien produced Crop Circles and George Bush wasn't responsible for a Hurricane or it's having washed the streets of New Orleans and certainly not for the initial rescue efforts, which were solely the responsibility of the State Governor and it's National Guard if she said so. She was in charge of FEMA there.
4QBUD 2 weeks ago
The Governor calls FEMA 1st!
4QBUD 2 weeks ago
@4QBUD I realize this is a LOAD to read, but a LOAD happen in August of 2005 and it takes MANY words to show some people what the truth is in spite of Crazy Louies (Farrakhan) assertions that "Frog Men" blew up the Levees. (Funny how that nitwit is in my spellchecker, but Prestidigitation isn't!) Anyways, it is what it is. Scream air shout about it and it won't change it. This now ENDS another "True Moment in American History" till the Democrats re-write it in 2025.
4QBUD 2 weeks ago
@4QBUD You say the city is 50 feet below sea level, but you are wrong again. The lowest areas of New Orleans are no more than 8 feet below sea level. Another thing: I said NOTHING about government. You say the storm did little damage to the "cesspool" (as idiots [you] call it), but in reality, the storm caused an estimated $81 BILLION in damage, much of which was in New Orleans.

negative@thekerneljames Anyone who pre-judges anyone for having a negative opinion of the people who ignored all the warnings prior to that disaster is just stupid.
4QBUD 6 months ago

If these things (continued)
grandmachristine42 6 months ago
@grandmachristine42 are never going to be mentioned when we tell the story, then the young ones who want to know what happened will never understand the wave of revulsion and pure hatred for the Bush administration that swept the country. Katrina was much more than a horrible natural disaster compounded by years of racist neglect; it was a CELEBRATION of the horror NO was living through by the Bushies, because they had other plan$ for New Orleans.
grandmachristine42 6 months ago
@grandmachristine42 Well Said! Bus has so much blood on his hands all for profit. We as Americans and citizens need to stop believing everthing we are told and start questioning things.
